Pietro Morello, Fatti di musica at Teatro Brancaccio, January 26, 2027
Pietro Morello brings Fatti di musica to Teatro Brancaccio on Tuesday, January 26, 2027 at 21:00, at Via Merulana 244 (00185 Rome), in the Esquilino district: it is the Rome stop of the Fatti di Musica Tour 2027, the new live show by the Turin-born musician, creator and popularizer. On the presale circuit authorized by the organizer, Aurora Eventi, tickets run from €25.30 in second balcony B to €36.80 in poltronissima, fees not included. You buy them from the event page on the organizer's website, which links to the official circuit, or at the theater box office, open on Tuesday from 16:00 to 19:00. The nearest stop is Vittorio Emanuele on Metro line A. Buses 16, 75, 714, 717 and C3 run along Via Merulana, and the N10 night bus stops at Labicana/Merulana.

If you know Pietro Morello from social media, you have seen him play the piano in a hospital ward, in a Nairobi slum, in a room full of instruments. In the theater he brings all of this together: music as a way to tell stories, and stories as a reason to play. Fatti di musica is his second stage show after Non è un concerto, and the title plays on a double meaning: fatti, meaning true stories, and fatti di musica, meaning made of music.

Who is organizing
The Rome date is organized by Aurora Eventi, a company based in Mesagne, in the province of Brindisi, which presents it as part of the Fatti di Musica Tour 2027. The show is not in the season program published by Brancaccio: it is an evening hosted in the theater by an outside producer.
Fatti di musica: what you see on stage
Fatti di musica is a concert told as a story: according to the organizer's description, Pietro Morello brings his artistic universe to the stage, where music, words and stories meet and become a single live experience.
Music as a means
The description insists on one point: in this show, music is not only artistic expression but a way to communicate, share and create real connections with the people listening. It is the same principle as the videos that made Morello known, in which a piano piece becomes the pretext for telling the story of a person, a place, an experience.
Direct language
Aurora Eventi describes Morello's path as a union of performance and communication, with a direct, contemporary language that puts emotions and the relationship with the audience at the center. If you expect a traditional piano recital, you will find something else: an evening of words and music in which the audience is drawn in.
The predecessor: Non è un concerto
In 2023 Morello came to the theater for the first time with Non è un concerto, a show halfway between a play and a concert, built on stories lived in hospitals and war zones and tied together by a single thread, happiness. The audience entered his room, until then seen only in videos, with his best-known pieces and original music written for those stories. Fatti di musica takes up that formula and carries it forward.
Who is Pietro Morello
Pietro Morello, born in Turin in 1999, is a musician and creator followed by millions of people on social media, known for his experiences as a humanitarian worker alongside children in difficulty, in Italy and abroad.
Happiness is a choice
His motto is "happiness is a choice." According to the bio published by Compagnia della Rancia, his goal is to teach younger generations to tell material happiness from intrinsic happiness, using notes as a way to talk about human rights. His publisher, De Agostini, presents him as a versatile musician and creator with more than 2 million followers.
The beginnings on social media
His public career begins in 2020, when Morello starts sharing content ranging from music to volunteering. Within a few years his profiles reach millions of people, mostly on TikTok, where the piano videos and the stories from humanitarian missions find the widest audience.
2021
2021 is the turning point. Morello is chosen as host of the X Factor pre-show on TikTok, behind the scenes of the live program on its official profile. In the summer he speaks at a TEDx event, telling his humanitarian stories at the piano. In July he joins Marco Montemagno's platform Competenze.it as a piano teacher. In August he is in Nairobi, at the largest dump in Africa, with the families and children of the Korogocho slum.
Ambassador of Turin
Around the same time the City of Turin names him Ambassador of Turin in the World, and he receives the La Pira peace and human rights prize. At the Regina Margherita children's hospital in Turin he created a weekly space where he brings music to the oncology ward, for the children and their parents.
The book and Eurovision
In 2022 he publishes Io ho un piano with De Agostini, in which he tells the story of his path as a humanitarian worker. The same year he is again host of the X Factor pre-show on TikTok and, for the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin, he is one of the 20 world ambassadors chosen by TikTok around the globe. According to his publisher he studies intercultural communication and music therapy.
From video to stage: why Pietro Morello goes to the theater
Pietro Morello started out as a social media artist, but since 2023 he has chosen the theater as the place to tell in full the stories that last only a few seconds in videos.
The social media numbers
According to the bio published by Compagnia della Rancia, at age 24 Morello had 3.7 million followers on TikTok, about 410,000 on Instagram and about 390,000 on YouTube. These are mass-audience numbers, built however with content far from pure entertainment: music, volunteering, stories of children.
The room seen in the videos
In the first show, Non è un concerto, spectators could enter Pietro's room, until then seen only through videos on TikTok and Instagram, and live it with him. It is an idea that says a lot about the relationship between the musician and his audience: the theater as the physical extension of a space the followers already know.
What changes live
A piano video lasts as long as a chorus. An evening at the theater lets you tell a story from beginning to end, leave room for silence and let a whole piece be heard. In our opinion this is the best reason to see Fatti di musica even if you already know the videos: the long time that social media does not allow.
The book
The book Io ho un piano, published in 2022 by De Agostini, tells the story of his path as a humanitarian worker: the written version of the same stories. If you want to arrive prepared you can read it before the evening, and find on stage some of the places and faces described in its pages.
A curiosity about Pietro Morello, Fatti di musica at Teatro Brancaccio, January 26, 2027
The best curiosity is about the place where Morello plays most often. It is not a theater, it is not a recording studio: it is the pediatric oncology ward of the Regina Margherita hospital in Turin, where he created a weekly music space for the children and their parents. The musician who on January 26 steps onto the stage of one of the largest theaters in Rome built his voice in front of an audience of a few beds.
The second curiosity is on his YouTube channel, where Morello also publishes Musica Bestiale, a documentary series about animals that speak through music: one episode, for example, is about the uirapuru, the Amazonian wren that sings. It is a way of telling the story of music that starts from the natural world before it starts from instruments.
The third is about his work as a teacher. Before becoming a name in the theater, Morello taught piano online, joining Marco Montemagno's training platform in 2021. In our opinion his teaching vocation is also the key to understanding the show: every piece is also a small lesson on what music can do.
And a fourth, of calendar coincidences: the evening before, Monday, January 25, Marco Travaglio is on the same stage with Cornuti e contenti. Two shows of words and storytelling, 24 hours apart, with two audiences that rarely meet.
Teatro Brancaccio, the home of Fatti di musica
Teatro Brancaccio, at Via Merulana 244, is one of the largest theaters in Rome. Since 1937 it has had its present layout, with two foyers, a wide orchestra section and two balcony levels, for about 2,000 seats at the time. Today it is run by Viola Produzioni and alternates musicals, plays, concerts and storytelling shows.
Orchestra, balconies and boxes
The orchestra section is divided into poltronissima and poltrona. Above are the first balcony, with sectors A and B and the side boxes, and the second balcony. Some seats, in poltronissima and in the boxes, are sold as limited view and cost less. For a concert told as a story, where seeing the piano and the face of the person speaking matters, it is better to avoid them.
A hall for music and words
Brancaccio is used to both: in the 2026 2027 season it hosts concerts by singer-songwriters such as Roberto Vecchioni, Michele Bravi, Mario Biondi and Francesco Renga, and popularizing shows like those of Marco Goldin, Stefania Andreoli and Vincenzo Schettini. Fatti di musica sits halfway between the two.
The venue page
The hall is part of a complex that includes the Brancaccino, a theater of about 100 seats, training spaces and a terrace on Via Merulana. For the full page, see the one on Teatro Brancaccio.
One thing nobody tells you about Pietro Morello, Fatti di musica at Teatro Brancaccio, January 26, 2027
What is rarely said is that Pietro Morello's audience is much more varied than his follower count suggests. Alongside the young people who follow him on TikTok there are parents, teachers, educators, people who got to know him through the book or the charity initiatives. An evening of Fatti di musica, in our opinion, also suits people who have never opened a social network: an interest in true stories and in the piano is enough.
The second thing is about buying tickets. The show is not in Brancaccio's season program: if you look for the date on the theater's website you may not find it. The page to use is the organizer's, Aurora Eventi, which links to the official presale circuit. The theater box office, on Tuesday, is open anyway from 16:00 to 19:00.
The third thing is the price. Tickets for this evening cost less than many concerts hosted by the same hall: from the second balcony at a little over €25 to the poltronissima at under €37, fees not included. For a family it is a difference that counts.
The advice I give you for visiting Pietro Morello, Fatti di musica at Teatro Brancaccio, January 26, 2027
My advice is to pick your seat according to the piano. In a show where the music is played live and the hands on the keyboard are part of the story, the central seats in the orchestra and the first balcony let you see the instrument and the musician together. The side boxes and the limited-view seats, even though they cost less, cut off part of the stage.
The second piece of advice is for those who come with teenagers. Before the evening, a few of Morello's videos or a few pages of Io ho un piano help you understand the spirit of the show and turn the evening into a conversation, in the car or at dinner, about the stories you heard.
The third is about the time. The start is at 21:00 on a Tuesday: if you have school-age children, getting home is late. It is better to have an early dinner near the theater and pick a place that is easy to reach on the way out, like the Vittorio Emanuele metro.
Last piece of advice: arrive half an hour early. The theater's rules do not allow entry once the show has started, and the line at the coat check on a winter evening can be long.
How to get to Teatro Brancaccio
Teatro Brancaccio is at Via Merulana 244, in Esquilino, less than a kilometer from Termini station and a few steps from the Vittorio Emanuele stop on Metro line A.
Metro
The nearest stop is Vittorio Emanuele, line A: you come out on Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II and reach Via Merulana in a few minutes. Alternatively there is Cavour, on line B, with a longer walk. From Termini you can also walk, passing by Santa Maria Maggiore.
Bus
The theater lists three stops. On Via Merulana, Merulana/Brancaccio and Merulana/Mecenate, lines 16, 75, 714, 717 and C3 stop. At the Labicana/Merulana stop you find 3, 53, 75, 85, 87, 186, 571, 810, C3 and the N10 night bus.
Taxi
The taxi stands listed by the theater are in Largo Brancaccio, in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II at number 113, at Via Principe Amedeo 138, at Via Giolitti 6 and on Via Venosta.
Car
The theater lists no partner parking, and street parking in Esquilino in the evening is difficult. If you come from outside Rome you can leave the car near a metro station and continue by public transit, checking times on the Atac route planner.
Another well-known fact, yet rarely mentioned
It is well known that Pietro Morello became famous on social media. It is mentioned far less that his first public role, besides the videos, was as a host: in 2021 and 2022 he hosted the X Factor pre-show on the program's official TikTok profile, taking viewers behind the scenes live. And in 2022, for the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin, he was one of the 20 world ambassadors chosen by TikTok around the globe, with episodes made specifically for the festival.
The second little-mentioned fact is about institutional recognition. Before turning 30, Morello was named by his city Ambassador of Turin in the World and received the La Pira peace and human rights prize. These are titles that describe a path closer to volunteering than to show business.
The third fact is about Brancaccio. Everyone knows it as a musical theater. Fewer remember that from 1985 to 2000 it was the home of the Fondazione dell'Opera di Roma. A hall born for great live music now welcomes a pianist who learned to play for a very small audience.
The right photo to take at Pietro Morello, Fatti di musica at Teatro Brancaccio, January 26, 2027
No photos during the show: Brancaccio's rules forbid photographs and filming, even with a phone. For an artist born on social media this may seem strange, but the hall asks for respect toward the person sitting next to you. The right photo is taken before the start, from your seat, with the piano lit on the empty stage: an image that says everything about the show without disturbing anyone.
The second is the facade of the theater on Via Merulana, in the evening, with the title on the billboard. The advice is to shoot from the opposite sidewalk with a wide lens, so that part of the street fits in too.
The third is for those arriving on foot from Piazza Vittorio: the Porta Alchemica in Piazza Vittorio, a few minutes from the theater: a curious photo for those who have time for a short walk before the show.
Around Brancaccio: Esquilino, Via Merulana and Monti
Teatro Brancaccio is on Via Merulana, between the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano, in the Esquilino district.
The basilicas
Via Merulana connects Santa Maria Maggiore and St. John Lateran. If you arrive in the afternoon you can walk the stretch between one basilica and the theater.
Art along the street
Along Via Merulana you find Palazzo Merulana, with a collection of twentieth-century art. A little further on is the Auditorium of Maecenas, a hall from Roman times. The theater borders the gardens of Palazzo Brancaccio.
Piazza Vittorio and Monti
To the north is Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II with the Porta Alchemica. To the west is the Monti district, with its own page on the Monti district.
Some important events that took place here in history
The history of Teatro Brancaccio begins in January 1916, when the hall was inaugurated as Teatro Morgana, next to the embankment of the gardens of the palace of the Field Brancaccio, the family that takes its name from Elizabeth Field, who married Prince Brancaccio.
In 1937 the hall takes its present layout and the name Teatro Brancaccio. From 1985 to 2000 it is the home of the Fondazione dell'Opera di Roma. Then the city entrusts the direction to Gigi Proietti until 2007. Maurizio Costanzo follows until 2010 and Stage Entertainment Italia until 2012. Since September 2012 the artistic direction has been Alessandro Longobardi's.
The timeline of Pietro Morello is short and dense. In 2020 the first social media content. In 2021 X Factor on TikTok, the TEDx, online teaching, the mission to Korogocho, the title of Ambassador of Turin and the La Pira prize. In 2022 the book Io ho un piano and Eurovision in Turin. In 2023 the theater debut with Non è un concerto. On January 26, 2027, at Brancaccio, the Rome stop of Fatti di musica.
Who has played at Pietro Morello, Fatti di musica at Teatro Brancaccio, January 26, 2027
Some of the great names of show business have passed through the stage at Brancaccio: Totò, Anna Magnani, Aldo Fabrizi, Gigi Proietti among the actors, Fabrizio De André, Louis Armstrong, Jimi Hendrix among the musicians. For 15 years the Opera di Roma played there.
In the same week of late January 2027 the program is packed: from January 20 to 24 Neri Marcorè with Gaber, mi fa male il mondo, on the 25th Marco Travaglio with Cornuti e contenti, on the 27th Angelo Branduardi with Il cantico and on the 28th the musical All You Need Is Love. A few days earlier, from the 15th to the 17th, the hall hosts Solo by Arturo Brachetti. Later, in spring, comes Mrs Doubtfire, the musical.
In Pietro Morello's stories, ideally, the places of his journey also pass through Brancaccio: the ward at Regina Margherita in Turin, the Korogocho slum in Nairobi, a TEDx stage, the Turin of Eurovision. And the children who, in his stories, taught him something before he taught them something, as the subtitle of his book promises.
Brancaccio house rules: what to know
The rules of Teatro Brancaccio apply to every evening: arrive well ahead of time, no entry once the show has started, no photos or filming, no food in the hall.
Bags and coat check
The theater has a coat check and a bar. Umbrellas are not allowed in the hall. Plastic bottles over half a liter, glass containers, helmets, professional cameras, tripods and selfie sticks are not allowed. The last ban is worth remembering for an audience used to social media.
Seats and dress
You take only your assigned seat. On clothing, the theater asks for dress appropriate to the decorum of the hall, without a real dress code.
Accessibility and children
Teatro Brancaccio states that it has no architectural barriers for access to the orchestra section: there is a ramp, an area for wheelchairs and an accessible restroom on the ground floor, reachable from the foyer.
Reserved seats
The balconies cannot be reached by wheelchair because there are no elevators. For an evening organized by an outside producer like this one, it is best to write to the box office or the organizer before buying, to find out how to reserve seats in the orchestra section.
With teenagers
Pietro Morello's audience includes many young people, and the themes of the show, from happiness to children's rights, suit a family evening. Any age limits are not stated by the organizer. The evening start time and the running time weigh more than the content when deciding to bring small children.
How to plan the Tuesday evening of Fatti di musica
With a start at 21:00 on a Tuesday, the evening of Fatti di musica is best organized with an early dinner in Esquilino and the ride home by metro or night bus.
The ticket
On Tuesday the Brancaccio box office is open from 16:00 to 19:00: if you have not bought online you can buy there, if seats are still available. The official circuit remains the easiest route, from the organizer's page.
The afternoon
If you come from outside Rome you can spend the afternoon at Santa Maria Maggiore and Palazzo Merulana, during opening hours, and reach the theater on foot along Via Merulana.
Getting home
Metro line A at Vittorio Emanuele is a few minutes away. For those going home later, the N10 night bus stops at Labicana/Merulana. The Atac route planner helps you choose.
If you arrive by train
If you arrive in Rome by train for the evening, you have the advantage of proximity: from Termini station Brancaccio can be reached on foot in a short time, passing by Santa Maria Maggiore, or with one stop on Metro line A to Vittorio Emanuele. If you leave the next day, sleeping near the station lets you get back to the hotel without public transit.
With the family
For a family, the most comfortable combination is an early dinner near the theater, the show and the metro home. It is best to have the digital tickets already loaded on an adult's phone and to set a meeting point in the foyer in case someone wanders off at the exit, when the crowd of such a big hall spills out all at once onto Via Merulana. On winter evenings an extra jacket for waiting on the sidewalk is never superfluous.
Where to eat before the show
Around Brancaccio you find the places on Via Merulana, the kitchens around Piazza Vittorio and, a 15-minute walk away, the trattorias and wine bars of the Monti district.
Before 21:00
With the start at 21:00 and arrival recommended half an hour earlier, dinner should be moved up to 19:00. If you are with teenagers, a pizza near the theater is the most practical solution.
After the show
On a Tuesday evening, after 23:00, few kitchens are open in Esquilino: better not to count on a post-theater meal.

The final advice on Fatti di musica
Fatti di musica brings to Brancaccio an artist who learned to play for an audience of a few hospital beds and now fills theaters. My advice is to take it as an evening of stories more than a concert: buy the ticket on the circuit indicated by the organizer, pick a central seat from which you can see the piano, avoid the limited-view seats, have an early dinner in Esquilino and arrive ahead of time. And, if you go with teenagers, talk about it afterward: the show itself asks for it.
