1. Who runs the Site
EstateRomana.com (the “Site”) is run by Daniele Dezi, sole proprietor (ditta individuale), VAT number IT18149671002, Rome, Italy. Contact: info@estateromana.com. By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
2. What the Site is
The Site is a free, independent guide to events, places, tours and services in Rome and the surrounding area, with a free trip planner (E.R. PLANNER). We do not sell tickets, tours, hotels or transport ourselves, and we are not a travel agency or a tour operator: bookings are made directly with the partner you choose, under that partner’s terms.
3. Accuracy of information
We check what we publish with care, but opening hours, prices, dates, line-ups and rules are set by third parties and can change without notice, sometimes after we publish. Always confirm with the venue or organizer before you go, especially for tickets, timed entries and closures. If you spot a mistake, please tell us at info@estateromana.com and we will fix it.
4. Affiliate links and sponsored content
Some links are affiliate links: if you buy through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. These links are marked as sponsored, and our recommendations are not for sale. Content paid for by an organizer or brand is labeled as such. Details: Affiliate disclosure.
5. Using our content
Texts, photos, graphics, maps and the layout of the Site are protected by copyright and belong to us or to their respective owners. You may read, print and share links to our pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may quote short excerpts with a clear credit and a link to the original page. Any other reproduction requires our written permission. Trademarks and names of venues, companies and institutions belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.
6. Images and copyright complaints
We publish our own photos, photos supplied by venues and organizers for promotional use, freely licensed images with their credits, and in some cases illustrative images that are labeled as such. If you believe an image or text infringes your rights, write to info@estateromana.com with a link to the page, the content concerned and the reason. We will review it promptly and remove it or add the correct credit where appropriate.
7. Events and content submitted by organizers
Organizers, venues and press offices can submit their own events. By submitting content you confirm that it is accurate, that you have the right to publish it (including any images), and that it does not break the law. You grant us a free, non-exclusive license to publish, edit for clarity and length, translate, and promote it on the Site and on our social media pages. We review submissions before and after publication and may refuse, edit or remove content that does not fit our editorial line; we may also add affiliate links, for example to the official ticket seller. Submitted events usually stay online for at least 6 months; this is a free service with no guaranteed publication date.
8. Reporting illegal content
You can report content you believe is illegal by writing to info@estateromana.com, our single point of contact for users and authorities under the EU Digital Services Act. Please include the page address, an explanation of why the content is illegal, your name and email (unless the report concerns certain serious offenses), and a statement that the report is made in good faith. We will confirm receipt, decide without undue delay, and tell you the outcome. If we remove or restrict content you submitted, we will tell you why and how you can respond. We can communicate in Italian and English.
9. E.R. PLANNER
The planner is a free tool to organize ideas. It does not make bookings, it does not guarantee availability or prices, and suggested times and distances are estimates. Trips are stored in your browser unless you choose to save them with your email, as described in the Privacy and cookie policy.
10. Liability
The Site is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses caused by information that turns out to be inaccurate or outdated, by temporary unavailability of the Site, or by the products and services of third parties, including partners reached through our links. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for willful misconduct or gross negligence (Article 1229 of the Italian Civil Code), or the mandatory rights you have as a consumer.
11. Links to other websites
We link to official sites, partners and other sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or terms.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; the version in force when you use the Site applies.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may bring a claim before the courts of that country. For other disputes, the courts of Rome, Italy, have jurisdiction.
