C’mon Tigre at Largo Venue, December 12, 2026
C'mon Tigre present their new album Lumina live on Saturday, December 12, 2026 at Largo Venue, Via Biordo Michelotti 2 (00176 Rome), at Largo Preneste, in the Pigneto area. Doors open at 21:00 and the concert starts at 21:30, according to the ticketing network indicated by the venue. You get there by metro C, stops Pigneto or Malatesta. The ticket is a single one, standing, at 23 euros, and is bought on the authorized presale network reachable from the event page on the Largo's official site. The event is for ages 18 and over.

Lumina came out on October 2, 2026 and the tour that brings it live starts on November 6 in Vicenza and ends on January 29 in Bologna: the Rome date falls in the middle of the run. The Largo presents it in a line, between electronics and traditional instruments, and the tour's official description promises a rave to listen to and dance to. For a collective that over 10 years has mixed afrobeat, jazz, funk, music of the Mediterranean and of Brazil, it's a declared turn toward the body and the dance floor.

Lumina, the new C'mon Tigre album
Lumina is the new C'mon Tigre album, released on October 2, 2026: the Largo concert is one of the stops of the album release tour that brings it live across Italy between November 2026 and January 2027.
Electronics at the center
The tour's official presentation puts electronics at the center of the project, understood as an autonomous language and not as a frame: electronic drums, sequencers, synthesizers, for a more defined and sculpted sound, explicitly built to move bodies. The idea of a concert that follows, the same presentation writes, is that of a rave to listen to and dance to.
Traditional instruments
On stage, next to the machines, there are oud, guitars, bass, cello, xylophone, drums, acoustic percussion and a female voice. The traditional instruments dialogue with the electronic production on equal terms, without hierarchies: the oud next to the sequencer, the cello next to the synthesizer.
A club to dance in
The Largo is the right place for this project. A standing hall, an audience free to move, a sound system built for live music: the formula of the rave to listen to needs space in front of the stage, more than seats. It's a choice consistent with the tour's declared intentions.
What to expect from the concert
The December 12 concert is built on Lumina, but the C'mon Tigre repertoire now counts five studio albums, a remix EP and a long series of singles: the evening's setlist isn't published.
From the first album to Habitat
The audience that follows the band knows Federation Tunisienne De Football, the single that in 2014 anticipated the debut. Behold the Man, Underground Lovers and Mono No Aware from Racines, from 2019. Twist Into Any Shape, Kids Are Electric and Sleeping Beauties from Scenario, from 2022. Teenage Kingdom, The Botanist and Sento un morso dolce from Habitat, from 2023. How much of this repertoire will enter the new concert, with its electronic cut, is one of the curiosities of the evening.
A band that changes skin
Every C'mon Tigre record has had a different color: the roots evoked by the title of Racines, the international collaborations of Scenario, the Brazilian influences of Habitat, the music for imaginary films of the 2024 instrumental project. Lumina adds dance floor electronics. Whoever has seen them live in past years should expect a different concert.
The voice and the lineup
The tour presentation announces a female voice, without giving her name, and a lineup that brings together strings, percussion and machines. On the records the voices are often those of guests. Live, the collective entrusts the singing to a single performer, and the full lineup is discovered on stage.
Who C'mon Tigre are: the biography
C'mon Tigre is an international collective of musicians and visual artists formed in Italy in 2013. Their music is classified among world music, afrobeat, electronics, jazz and funk, and each album is accompanied by visual work signed by artists, photographers and illustrators.
The name
The name comes from a play on words: from the French c'est mon tigre, "it's my tiger", and from the English come on tiger, joining an English verb and an Italian word. The bilingualism, or rather multilingualism, is already in the name.
The 2014 debut
The first album, C'mon Tigre, comes out in 2014, anticipated by the single Federation Tunisienne De Football, with an animated video by Gianluigi Toccafondo. A series of concerts in Italy and France follows, closed with an appearance at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark.
Elephant RMX and Racines
In 2017 the EP Elephant RMX comes out, a remix record made with DJ Khalab and Populous. Toccafondo's cover wins the prize for best cover at Best Art Vinyl Italia. On February 15, 2019 the second album arrives, Racines, on BDC and !K7 Records, anticipated by the single Behold the Man, with the collaboration of Tommaso Colliva and a long list of visual artists and photographers: Harri Peccinotti, Boogie, Mode2, Ericailcane, Maurizio Anzeri, Sic Est, Gianluigi Toccafondo, Danijel Zezelj, Stefano Ricci, Shigekiyuriko Yamane.
Scenario and the MEI Prize
On March 25, 2022 Scenario comes out, with Colin Stetson, Mick Jenkins and Xenia Rubinos, and a book with photographs by Paolo Pellegrin. A national tour follows with a stop at the Fusion Festival in Berlin. In July the concert at the Cage Theater in Livorno becomes a documentary film broadcast by Sky Arte. In the fall the band receives the MEI Award as best independent artist of the year, and the video for Twist Into Any Shape, directed by Donato Sansone, wins best animated music video at the London International Animation Festival.
Habitat and the recent projects
In November 2023 Habitat comes out, a record with Brazilian influences featuring Seun Kuti, Xenia França, Arto Lindsay, Giovanni Truppi and the American collective Drumetrics, followed by a tour in Italy and France. On December 6, 2024 comes Instrumental Ensemble, Soundtrack For Imaginary Movie Vol. 1, the first volume of a parallel instrumental project dedicated to film music. In 2025, the edition for the tenth anniversary of the first album, 10. Lumina, in October 2026, is the next chapter.
The C'mon Tigre records, one by one
The C'mon Tigre discography includes five studio albums between 2014 and 2024, the remix EP Elephant RMX from 2017 and the tenth anniversary edition from 2025, released on labels such as BDC, !K7 Records, Intersuoni and African Tape.
C'mon Tigre, 2014
The self-titled debut is the record that made the collective known, with the single Federation Tunisienne De Football and Toccafondo's video. It's also the record celebrated in 2025 by the anniversary edition, 10: the starting point for those who don't know the band.
Racines, 2019
The title, in French, means roots. The record comes out on February 15, 2019, anticipated by Behold the Man. In the same year the singles Guide to Poison Tasting, Underground Lovers, with Mick Jenkins, and Mono No Aware come out. The collaboration with Tommaso Colliva and the long list of visual artists make it a collective work in the full sense.
Scenario, 2022
The record of the international collaborations, with Colin Stetson in Sleeping Beauties and Xenia Rubinos in No One You Know, and of Paolo Pellegrin's photo book. It's also the record of the MEI Award and of the video awarded in London.
Habitat, 2023
The fourth album, out in November 2023, brings the Brazilian influences: Teenage Kingdom with Xenia França, The Botanist with Seun Kuti, Sento un morso dolce with Giovanni Truppi, the only piece with an Italian title among the singles.
Soundtrack For Imaginary Movie, 2024
The first volume of the instrumental project Instrumental Ensemble, out on December 6, 2024, is dedicated to music for an imaginary cinema. Whoever wants to understand how oud and cello will sound inside Lumina finds here the link between the acoustic collective and the electronic one.
The Lumina Album Release Tour
The Lumina tour starts on November 6, 2026 in Vicenza and closes on January 29, 2027 in Bologna: the Rome date, December 12, is in the middle of the run, after over a month of concerts.
A mid-tour date
The tour touches cities across Italy over almost three months, and each date is a testing ground for a new project. Reaching Rome mid-tour means finding a show already broken in, with the passages between electronics and acoustic instruments tested by weeks on stage, but still fresh. In our judgment it's the best moment to see a new concert: the band now knows the material, the audience hasn't yet seen a thousand videos of it online, and the setlist has found its shape.
A curiosity about C'mon Tigre at Largo Venue, December 12, 2026
The most surprising curiosity about C'mon Tigre concerns their relationship with images. Few Italian bands have tied each record to such a broad visual project: the first animated video signed by Gianluigi Toccafondo. The award-winning cover of Elephant RMX. For Racines, a list of visual artists and photographers running from Harri Peccinotti to Ericailcane, from Mode2 to Danijel Zezelj. For Scenario, a book with photographs by Paolo Pellegrin. The definition of a collective of musicians and visual artists isn't a formula: it's the way they work.
The second curiosity is in the title of the first single. Federation Tunisienne De Football, the Tunisian football federation, is a title that throws you off and already tells the band's horizon: the southern Mediterranean, North Africa, an Italy that looks at the other shore. From there on the collaborations widened to Seun Kuti and Xenia França, protagonists of Habitat, the record with Brazilian influences.
The third concerns television. In July 2022 the concert at the Cage Theater in Livorno was filmed and broadcast by Sky Arte as a documentary film: one of the rare cases in which a live show by an Italian independent band became a program on the art-dedicated television channel.
Largo Venue, the concert venue
Largo Venue is a live music club carved out of a former industrial shed at Via Biordo Michelotti 2, at Largo Preneste, between Pigneto and Via Prenestina, in Municipio V. The Rome municipality's tourism portal describes it as an urban regeneration project dedicated to creativity, music and culture.
A recovered shed
The Pigneto portal tells of the Largo as a space snatched from decay and returned to the neighborhood with greenery, creativity and culture. It's a story common to many places of recent Roman music: where there were warehouses and workshops, today there are stages, sound systems and an audience that comes from all over the city.
The spaces
The official site lists four areas: the Main hall, where concerts are held, the Garden, the Rumah space and O'Bistrot, the venue's kitchen, with a menu you can consult online. The outdoor garden, with food and drinks, is one of the reasons the Largo works even before the concerts.
The program
The calendar alternates international, national and Roman artists, DJ sets and cinema. On Friday and Saturday, after the concerts, the dance nights of Latte Fresco and Back To The Disco run until late: December 12 is a Saturday. General information on the venue is in the Largo Venue listing.
Something nobody tells you about C'mon Tigre at Largo Venue, December 12, 2026
What few people say is that C'mon Tigre are, by choice, a name better known than their faces. The band presents itself as a collective, and on their records the covers, videos and photographs by other artists take the space that portraits of the musicians usually take. Anyone who goes to the Largo expecting a band with a recognizable frontman will find an ensemble in which the whole matters: the oud, the cello, the xylophone, the female voice, the electronic machines.
Second thing rarely said: the Lumina concert isn't that of the previous records. The tour presentation speaks of a sound built to move bodies, and of the concert as a rave to listen to and dance to. Whoever has seen them in a theater or at a summer festival, seated, must be ready to stand and dance. Comfortable shoes and no bulky bags.
Third point, a practical one: December 12 is a Saturday, and after the concert at the Largo the weekend dance nights begin. Whoever wants to stay finds the evening continuing. Whoever wants to go home must organize the return before going out, because after midnight public transport thins out. And Via Biordo Michelotti is a residential street: on the way out, keep your voice down.
The advice I give you for visiting C'mon Tigre at Largo Venue, December 12, 2026
The advice is to arrive at the concert having already listened to Lumina. The album came out on October 2, over two months before the Rome date: there's time to get to know it. A concert built for dancing works better when you recognize the pieces, and the effect of the oud or the cello inside an electronic track is enjoyed more if you've already heard it on headphones.
Second point: arrive when doors open, at 21:00. In a standing club your position is decided at the entrance. For a concert of this kind the best spot isn't under the stage but midway through the hall, in line with the sound engineer's desk, where the sound of the machines and the acoustic instruments arrives balanced and there is space to move.
Third point: eat beforehand, at the Largo or in the neighborhood. The venue has a kitchen and a garden, and Pigneto is a few steps away. Finally, musician's earplugs: in a concert built on the low frequencies of electronics they lower the volume without erasing the sound, and the next day you feel the difference.
How to get to Largo Venue
Largo Venue is at Via Biordo Michelotti 2, at Largo Preneste, in the eastern quadrant of the city, in Municipio V. The Rome municipality's tourism portal lists the metro C stops as the reference stops.
By metro
The reference stops are Pigneto and Malatesta, on line C. From the center take metro A to San Giovanni, change to C and get off at Pigneto or Malatesta. From there the venue is reached on foot.
By bus
For surface lines and Saturday night runs it's best to consult the Atac route planner before going out, entering Via Biordo Michelotti as the destination.
By car
By car you arrive from Via Prenestina. Parking in Pigneto's residential streets is difficult, especially on Saturday night. If the car is essential, it's best to leave with margin and allow for a few laps around the block.
By taxi
Rome's radio taxi answers on 060609. For the return after the concert it's best to book a few minutes before the end, because the demand concentrates at the exit.
Another well-known fact, and yet rarely mentioned
Among those who follow Italian independent music it's well known that C'mon Tigre are one of the most critically appreciated groups, to the point that Rolling Stone Italia called them a marvelous rarity for Italian music. Less often remembered is how international their path has been from the start: the first tour closed at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark, the records also came out on !K7 Records, the Scenario tour passed through the Fusion Festival in Berlin, and the collaborations have involved musicians from several continents, from Colin Stetson to Seun Kuti, from Arto Lindsay to Xenia França.
The second little-cited fact concerns the awards. In 2022 the band received the MEI Award as best independent artist of the year, assigned by a jury coordinated by the critic Federico Guglielmi. In the same year the video for Twist Into Any Shape, directed by Donato Sansone, won at the London International Animation Festival. Prizes for music and prizes for images: the collective's double nature is recognized on both fronts.
The third concerns cinema. In December 2024 C'mon Tigre released the first volume of Soundtrack For Imaginary Movie, scores for films that don't exist. For a band that has always worked with animation directors and photographers, music for images is a natural destination.
The right photo to take at C'mon Tigre at Largo Venue, December 12, 2026
The right photo at a C'mon Tigre concert isn't a close-up of a musician: it's the whole. The stage with the oud, the cello, the percussion and the electronic machines, and in front the hall dancing. To get it, stand midway through the hall, slightly off to the side, and shoot toward the stage including the heads of the moving audience. No flash: in clubs it flattens the stage lights.
For a band that has made images part of its language, the detail matters too: hands on the oud next to a sequencer, a contrast that tells Lumina better than any description. With a phone you only get it by moving close to the stage in the first minutes, before the hall fills up.
Outside, before going in, the Largo's garden with the evening lights is the backdrop for a souvenir photo, and the evening's official artwork, published on the venue's site, is the detail to frame next to the ticket. Then the phone goes in the pocket: a rave to listen to and dance to is lived with free hands.
Pigneto and the surroundings of Largo Venue
Largo Venue is in the Pigneto quadrant, east of Termini station, between Via Prenestina and Via Casilina: a district of residential streets, bars, trattorias and cultural spaces, one of the centers of Roman evening life.
Porta Maggiore
Toward the center you meet Porta Maggiore, the monumental gate where the ancient aqueducts converge. Not far away is the Underground Basilica of Porta Maggiore, open only on scheduled visits.
San Lorenzo
To the north, beyond the railway, is San Lorenzo with the basilica of San Lorenzo fuori le Mura. Whoever arrives in the afternoon can devote an hour to the basilica before moving on to the club.
Toward the Casilina
Along the Casilina is the Mausoleum of Sant'Elena. Farther southeast, by metro A, the Aqueducts Park, one of the most beautiful walks in the Roman periphery, to be done in daylight.
Some important events that happened here in history
The history of Largo Venue is that of an urban recovery. An industrial shed, in an area where Rome left warehouses and workshops for decades, was reopened as a place of culture, with a hall built for live music, a garden, a kitchen and a calendar that alternates concerts, DJ sets and cinema. The Pigneto portal tells it as a space snatched from decay, and it's the most exact definition.
Over time the venue has built a program with international names, Italian bands and Roman artists. In the 2026-2027 season the hall on Via Biordo Michelotti hosts, among others, Haken, the Lemon Twigs and La Yegros, another name that ties traditional rhythms to contemporary production. Later, on January 24, 2027, comes Leon Faun.
For the band, December 12, 2026 is a stop on a path begun in 2013: the debut in 2014 and Roskilde, Elephant RMX in 2017, Racines in 2019, Scenario and the MEI Award in 2022, Habitat in 2023, the instrumental project in 2024, the tenth anniversary edition in 2025 and Lumina in 2026. Rome arrives in the middle of a tour that marks a new phase.
Who has passed through C'mon Tigre at Largo Venue, December 12, 2026
Some of the most interesting names in international music and visual arts have passed through the C'mon Tigre path. Among the musicians: Colin Stetson, Mick Jenkins, Xenia Rubinos, Seun Kuti, Xenia França, Arto Lindsay, the singer-songwriter Giovanni Truppi, the collective Drumetrics, the producers DJ Khalab, Populous and Tommaso Colliva.
Among the visual artists: Gianluigi Toccafondo, author of the first video and the award-winning cover of Elephant RMX. The photographer Harri Peccinotti. Boogie, Mode2, Ericailcane, Maurizio Anzeri, Sic Est, Danijel Zezelj, Stefano Ricci, Shigekiyuriko Yamane. The photographer Paolo Pellegrin. The animation director Donato Sansone.
Through the Largo, on concert nights, pass international, national and Roman artists, and on Friday and Saturday the audience of the Latte Fresco and Back To The Disco dance nights. On December 12 the venue's two souls, the concert and the dance floor, meet on the same evening.
Where to eat before the concert
Largo Venue has its own kitchen, O'Bistrot, with a menu published on the official site, and the outdoor garden where you eat and drink before the start. Anyone who prefers to sit down in a trattoria finds osterie, pizzerias and bars in quantity in Pigneto, especially in the streets around the metro C stop. On Saturday night the neighborhood's places fill up: booking is prudent. With doors opening at 21:00 there's time for dinner around 19:30.
Accessibility and practical tips
For information on Largo Venue's accessibility and routes for people with disabilities it's best to contact the venue directly on 06 59875966 or at info@largovenue.com, before buying the ticket.
Age
The concert is listed as an event for ages 18 and over: no kids, even if they're fans. An ID may be requested at the entrance.
What to bring
An ID, the digital ticket on a charged phone, earplugs, a jacket to leave at the coat check or to tie around your waist. In December the evening is cold, and the wait at the entrance is outdoors.
A December Saturday in Pigneto
December 12 is a Saturday in the heart of the Christmas season: the center of Rome is crowded, the shopping streets are full, and Pigneto offers a different evening, far from the lights of Via del Corso. Whoever comes from outside Rome can spend the afternoon in the eastern quadrant, from Porta Maggiore to San Lorenzo, have dinner in the neighborhood and close the evening at the Largo, between concert and dance floor. Whoever lives in Rome has the chance to see one of the most original collectives in Italian music in an intimate hall, two months after the record's release, when the songs are still fresh.
