La Municipàl in Rome: date, times and tickets
La Municipàl's concert at Largo Venue is scheduled for Saturday, November 28, 2026, with doors opening at 21:00 in the Sala Main.
Times
Largo's website gives doors at 21:00. The official ticket seller gives the same time. The concert start time isn't published separately: in clubs the first song usually comes after a wait of half an hour or a little more.
Tickets and prices
The published price is 18 euros for full-price general admission, including the presale fee set by the organizer, plus service fees for buying online. Largo's website refers to the authorized presale circuit. Other channels have nothing to do with the organizers.
The Sala Main
The concert is in the Sala Main, Largo's main space for live music. It's a standing room, with the stage close to the audience.
A Saturday night in Pigneto
November 28 is a Saturday. Pigneto, on Saturday night, is one of the liveliest neighborhoods in Rome: having dinner in the area before the concert is easy, finding parking much less so. After the concert, at Largo, the weekend dance nights usually get going.
Le nostre guerre perdute live: the album at the heart of the evening
Largo presents the Rome date with the title Le nostre guerre perdute: it's La Municipàl's first album, released on May 27, 2016, and in 2026 it turns 10.
The first album
In 2016 the duo, then made up of siblings Carmine and Isabella Tundo, reached the final of Premio Buscaglione and won Premio MEI. On May 27 Le nostre guerre perdute came out. In September the two performed Discografica Milano on the program Il caffè di Raiuno. Giuliano Sangiorgi of Negramaro paid tribute to the song with a video in which he congratulated the brother and sister.
The story of the album
On December 14, 2018, the album came back to stores in a new remastered edition, with a different cover and the addition of the seven tracks of the EP B Side. In 2026, for the 10th anniversary, a new reissue arrives with an unreleased track, Riverbero.
What you'll hear
The setlist isn't published. The title of the evening suggests that the heart of the concert will be the songs from the first album, including Discografica Milano, George (il mio ex penfriend) and the songs from the early years. The more recent songs will probably find room too, but nothing has been announced.
Why celebrate an album
Devoting a concert to an album released 10 years earlier is a choice that says a lot about the relationship between an artist and their audience. Le nostre guerre perdute was the album of the awards, of television, of Sangiorgi's tribute, of the first concerts outside Puglia. For many listeners it's the album through which they discovered La Municipàl. Bringing it back to the stage means returning to those songs 10 years older, and letting people who weren't there back then hear them. The reissue with the unreleased Riverbero adds a new piece to an already familiar story.
Who La Municipàl is: the biography
La Municipàl is an indie pop music project born in Galatina, in Salento, in 2013, originally conceived as a duo of siblings Carmine and Isabella Tundo and carried on since 2023 by Carmine Tundo alone.
The name and the pronunciation
The name, which according to Carmine is pronounced the French way, is a tribute to their father, a former commander of the municipal police, and ironically also to the parents of the musicians who played with the siblings at the start, who were traffic wardens too. A family name, then, with the stress on the final a.
Carmine and Isabella
Carmine Tundo was already a singer-songwriter and musician who had been active for some time. Isabella had studied piano. The duo was born from this meeting between brother and sister: his writing, her keyboards and voice.
Via Coramari
The debut came at the end of 2013 with the single Via Coramari. The video is a stop-motion short film made by Hermes Mangialardo, a finalist at the International Film Festival in Toyama and at the Inventa un Film festival in Lenola, shown out of competition at the Festival Nazionale del Videocorto in Nettuno. From the start the two chose never to appear in their own music videos.
The first opening slots
Praise came quickly: La Municipàl opened concerts for Subsonica, Roberto Angelini, Niccolò Fabi and Le Luci della centrale elettrica. For a project born in the province of Lecce it was a rapid entry into the Italian scene.
2016 and the first album
In 2016 came the final at Premio Buscaglione, Premio MEI and the album Le nostre guerre perdute, with Discografica Milano performed on television and praised by Giuliano Sangiorgi. The singles of those years include Lettera dalla provincia leccese, Le ferie di metà settembre, L'universitaria fuori sede and Vecchie dogane.
B Side and the Primo Maggio
On February 13, 2018, the EP B Side came out, seven songs left off the first album, preceded by the single Lampadine. The same year La Municipàl won the Primo Maggio NEXT contest, with the finals held during the Concerto del Primo Maggio. On November 7, 2019, B Side officially became the second album, with three added songs.
Bellissimi difetti
On March 29, 2019, Bellissimi difetti came out, previewed by Finirà tutto quanto. On April 26 the duo took part in Faber nostrum, the tribute album to Fabrizio De André, with a version of Canzone di Marinella. Shortly after they returned to the stage of the Concerto del Primo Maggio, this time among the official performers.
Isabella leaves the stage
On September 23, 2019, the duo announced that Isabella would no longer be able to take part in concerts: after graduating she had moved for work, but she would keep recording the vocals for the songs. Since then Carmine has taken the project on the road with a band of supporting musicians.
Resisting trends, the 2020 project
In February 2020 the Per resistere alle mode project began, conceived as a series of double singles, starting with Quando crollerà il governo and Fuoriposto. In October 2020 La Municipàl made it to the auditions for Sanremo Giovani with La terza stagione di Dark, without reaching the semifinals. On June 18, 2021, the eight songs released became the fourth album, Per resistere al tuo fianco, with two unreleased tracks.
Magazzini Musicali
On January 26, 2021, the duo released the theme song of Magazzini Musicali, the program by Melissa Greta Marchetto and Gino Castaldo aired on Rai 2 on Saturday afternoons. It's one of the clearest acknowledgments of the place La Municipàl has earned in Italian songwriting.
Dopo tutto questo tempo
On May 24, 2024, the fifth album came out, Dopo tutto questo tempo, which made Isabella's departure from the project official. The song Odio cantare ends with a line that says so openly. Then came Giacomo, Cemento and, in 2025, La maglia del Lecce, with remixes made together with Mon Coeur.
Carmine Tundo's other projects
Carmine Tundo has also released the album Nocturnae larvae and the project Diego Rivera, with the album Gran Riserva, which includes songs like Santa Maria al bagno and Malvasia nera, released under the name La Municipàl in 2020.
The live band
Among its regular supporting musicians La Municipàl has had Gaia Rollo on keyboards and vocals, Roberto Mangialardo on electric guitar, Alberto Manco on drums, Alessio Gaballo on bass and Chiara Turco on guitars, ukulele and backing vocals. The lineup for the Rome date isn't given on the official pages.
La Municipàl's discography to listen to before the concert
La Municipàl has released five studio albums: Le nostre guerre perdute in 2016, B Side in 2018, Bellissimi difetti in 2019, Per resistere al tuo fianco in 2021 and Dopo tutto questo tempo in 2024.
Where to start
For this evening the choice is obvious: Le nostre guerre perdute, ideally in the 10th anniversary reissue with the unreleased Riverbero. If you have time, add B Side, made from the outtakes of the same period.
If you already know them
For longtime fans it's worth listening again to Dopo tutto questo tempo, the album that closes the duo's era, and comparing today's voices with those of 2016: you can hear the 10 years, and the Largo concert will tell their story.
The sound of La Municipàl: what you'll hear live
La Municipàl sits between indie pop and world music: songs in Italian built on piano, guitars and voices, with narrative lyrics and constant attention to places.
Songs as letters
Many of La Municipàl's titles look like the heading of a letter or a postcard: Lettera dalla provincia leccese, Cartoline di fine estate, Vecchie dogane. And the very name of the project is a dedication to their father. It's writing that moves through concrete images, names of streets and towns, small episodes.
Irony
Next to the melancholy there's always irony: I Mondiali del '18, Punk IPA, Le hit estive, La maglia del Lecce. La Municipàl laughs at the provinces and at itself, and it's this mix that the audience recognizes and sings along to.
From duo to band
Live, La Municipàl is a band today: electric guitars, bass, drums, keyboards and backing vocals support Carmine Tundo's voice. If you only know the duo's records you'll find a fuller sound, suited to a concert hall.
A curious fact about La Municipàl at Largo Venue, November 28, 2026
The juiciest curious fact is about the name. La Municipàl is pronounced the French way, with the stress on the last syllable, and was born as a tribute to the father of Carmine and Isabella Tundo, a former commander of the municipal police. And not only him: the parents of the musicians who played with the siblings at the start were traffic wardens too. An indie pop project with a name that comes from a provincial traffic police headquarters is already a little story, and it says a lot about the irony with which La Municipàl looks at its own land.
The second curious fact is about the videos. From the first single the siblings chose never to appear in their own music videos. Via Coramari is a stop-motion short film by Hermes Mangialardo, which reached the final of a Japanese festival in Toyama. A choice against the current, in years when every debut artist was betting on their own image.
The third closes a circle. In 2023 Hermes Mangialardo directed Ritorno a Via Coramari, 10 years after the first video. The Largo concert, devoted to the 10 years of Le nostre guerre perdute, belongs to the same season of anniversaries.
Largo Venue, where the concert takes place
Largo Venue is a live music club at Via Biordo Michelotti 2, near Largo Preneste, created in a former industrial shed. The tourism portal of Roma Capitale describes it as an urban regeneration project.
A reclaimed space
The Pigneto portal presents Largo as a space rescued from decay and reclaimed with creativity, greenery and culture. Where there used to be warehouses and workshops there are now a hall, a garden and a bistro.
The spaces
The official website lists the Sala Main, where La Municipàl plays, the Garden, the Rumah and the O'Bistrot. The program alternates international, national and Roman artists, DJ sets and cinema. On Fridays and Saturdays, after the concerts, the Latte Fresco and Back To The Disco dance nights get going.
The right hall for La Municipàl
La Municipàl's songs live on words: dense, ironic lyrics, full of place names and details of provincial life. In a hall of this size Carmine Tundo's voice comes through clearly all the way to the back, and the audience sings along with him.
Contacts
Largo's website gives the number 06 59875966 and the address info@largovenue.com. General information on the venue is on the Largo Venue page.
Something nobody tells you about La Municipàl at Largo Venue, November 28, 2026
What few people say is that the duo that recorded Le nostre guerre perdute won't be on the Largo stage. Isabella Tundo stopped performing live in 2019 and left the project with the 2024 album. Since then La Municipàl has been Carmine Tundo with a supporting band. Anyone going to the concert to hear the 2016 album again will therefore hear it in a new form, with Isabella's parts given to other voices and other instruments. It's an aspect that gives the evening a particular flavor: an anniversary that's also a stocktaking.
The second thing rarely said concerns the themes. Many of La Municipàl's songs are about departures and distances: just read titles like Lettera dalla provincia leccese, L'universitaria fuori sede, Discografica Milano, Cartoline di fine estate. They're songs written by someone who looks at the provinces up close and at the big city from afar, and played in a Roman club they take on an extra meaning for those in the audience who have made the same journey.
The third thing is practical. Largo is on a residential street: when you leave, after midnight, keeping your voice down is a courtesy to the people who live there.
My advice for seeing La Municipàl at Largo Venue, November 28, 2026
The first piece of advice is to listen again to Le nostre guerre perdute in the days before the concert, ideally in the 2026 reissue. It's the album at the heart of the evening, and knowing its lyrics transforms the listening: La Municipàl's songs are full of details that go by fast live.
The second is to arrive when the doors open, at 21:00. It's a standing room and your position is decided at the entrance. For a singer-songwriter concert, where understanding the words matters, the best spot is mid-hall, in front of the sound desk.
The third is to have dinner first: in Pigneto, on Saturday night, places fill up early, and it's best to book or sit down to eat around 19:30. Alternatively there's Largo's O'Bistrot.
The fourth is to plan the trip home. A concert that starts after 21:00 ends around midnight. Metro C, on Saturdays, runs later than on weekdays, but it's best to check the last train before going in. Night lines N12 and N28 stop at Gattamelata.
How to get to Largo Venue
Largo Venue is at Via Biordo Michelotti 2, in the eastern part of Rome, Pigneto area, Municipio V, near Largo Preneste. It's served by metro C and some bus lines.
By metro
The stops to use are Pigneto and Malatesta, on line C. From the center you take metro A to San Giovanni, change to line C and get off at one of the two stops. From there you walk to the venue.
By bus
The stop indicated by the tourism portal is Gattamelata, served by lines 81 and 412. At night lines N12 and N28 stop there: check the times before going out on the Rome public transit journey planner.
By car
By car you arrive from Via Prenestina or Via Casilina. On Saturday night parking on the residential streets of Pigneto is very difficult: if you really need the car, leave with plenty of margin.
By taxi
Rome's radio taxi answers at 060609. On Saturday night, for the return trip after midnight, it's best to book in advance.
Another well-known fact, yet rarely mentioned
It's known that La Municipàl played the Concerto del Primo Maggio in Piazza San Giovanni, in Rome. It's less often remembered that they played it twice, in two different roles. In 2018 the duo won the Primo Maggio NEXT contest, whose finals were held during the concert. In 2019 they returned to the stage among the official performers, shortly after the release of Bellissimi difetti. For a project born in Galatina, Piazza San Giovanni was the real Roman consecration.
Another rarely mentioned fact concerns an illustrious tribute. After the release of Le nostre guerre perdute, Giuliano Sangiorgi of Negramaro, also from Salento, posted a video in which he sang Discografica Milano and congratulated the brother and sister. La Repubblica reported his remark about the great album. It's one of the reasons why that album, 10 years later, deserves a dedicated concert.
And more: in 2019 La Municipàl took part in the tribute album Faber nostrum, dedicated to Fabrizio De André, with a version of Canzone di Marinella. Among the many names in Italian music involved, the duo from Salento was one of the youngest.
The right photo to take at La Municipàl at Largo Venue, November 28, 2026
The right photo at a La Municipàl concert isn't the one the project itself has always avoided: the close-up. For years the siblings chose not to appear in their own videos, and respecting that idea means looking for something else. The scene to capture is the hall singing a chorus, with the stage in the background and the warm lights of the Sala Main: a collective image, where the protagonist is the song.
To get it, it's best to stand to the side, a few meters back from the front rows, and wait for the best-known songs of Le nostre guerre perdute. No flash: in a club it flattens the lights and disturbs the performers.
The second photo is taken outside, before going in: the poster for the evening and Largo's lit garden. If you're coming from Salento you can add a detail to share with those who stayed home, maybe the Lecce jersey, to which La Municipàl devoted a single in 2025.
Then the phone goes in your pocket. La Municipàl's songs are made of words, and words are heard better without a screen in front of you.
Pigneto and the area around Largo Venue
Largo Venue is in the Pigneto area, east of Termini station, between Via Prenestina and Via Casilina: a neighborhood of residential streets, bars, trattorias and cultural spaces, among the liveliest of Rome's evenings.
Porta Maggiore
Toward the center you come to Porta Maggiore, where the ancient aqueducts converge. Next to it is the Underground Basilica of Porta Maggiore, open only on scheduled dates.
San Lorenzo
To the north, beyond the railway, San Lorenzo and the basilica of San Lorenzo fuori le Mura: an afternoon between the two neighborhoods is the best way to arrive at the concert.
Toward the Casilina
Along the Casilina is the Mausoleum of Sant'Elena. Farther southeast, on metro A, the Aqueducts Park, perfect for Sunday morning after the concert.
Some important events that happened here in history
The history of Largo Venue is one of urban reclamation. An industrial shed in an area of warehouses and workshops was reopened as a place of culture, with a hall built for live music, a garden, a bistro and a calendar that alternates concerts, DJ sets and cinema. It's the path that in many European cities has turned industrial areas into music districts.
Over time Largo has built a program with international names, Italian bands and Roman artists, and with the weekend dance nights. In autumn 2026 the venue hosted, among others, The Lemon Twigs and Haken in early October. In January 2027 Leon Faun is expected.
For La Municipàl, November 28, 2026, is a stop on a 13-year path. In 2013 Via Coramari. In 2016 Premio MEI and Le nostre guerre perdute. In 2018 B Side and the win at Primo Maggio NEXT. In 2019 Bellissimi difetti, the return to Piazza San Giovanni and Isabella's farewell to live shows. In 2021 Per resistere al tuo fianco. In 2024 Dopo tutto questo tempo. In 2026 the reissue of the first album with the unreleased Riverbero and the Rome concert celebrating its 10 years.
Who has passed through La Municipàl at Largo Venue, November 28, 2026
On the stage of the Sala Main, on November 28, there's Carmine Tundo, voice and soul of La Municipàl, with his live band. Any guests aren't listed on the official pages for the date.
Behind the project's name, though, there's a long line of people. Isabella Tundo, sister and half of the duo until 2021, voice and keyboards on the first records. Hermes Mangialardo, director of Via Coramari and its 2023 sequel. Roberto Mangialardo, guitarist and coauthor of several videos. The supporting musicians Gaia Rollo, Alberto Manco, Alessio Gaballo and Chiara Turco. Directors like Balto, Adriano Giotti, Marco Pellegrino, Giacomo Spaconi and Claudia Nanni.
And then the names crossed along the way: Subsonica, Roberto Angelini, Niccolò Fabi and Le Luci della centrale elettrica, whose concerts La Municipàl opened. Giuliano Sangiorgi, who sang Discografica Milano. Gino Castaldo and Melissa Greta Marchetto, for whom the duo wrote a TV theme song. Mon Coeur, with whom Carmine made the 2025 remixes.
On concert nights, international, national and Roman artists pass through Largo. On November 28 it's the turn of singer-songwriter music from Salento.
Accessibility, age and practical tips
For information on the accessibility of Largo Venue and on routes for people with disabilities, it's best to contact the venue at 06 59875966 or at info@largovenue.com.
Age and young people
The official pages for the date don't give age limits. A standing concert on a Saturday night, ending around midnight, is suitable for teenage fans. For minors the entry rules are set by the organizers.
What to bring
ID, the digital ticket on a charged phone, earplugs, a heavy jacket for the wait outdoors: at the end of November the evening is cold.
Where to eat before the concert
Largo Venue has its own food spot, the O'Bistrot, with the menu published on the official website, and for many people dinner is sorted there. If you'd rather sit down somewhere else, Pigneto has plenty of trattorias, pizzerias, osterias and bars, especially on the pedestrian streets around the metro C stop. On Saturday night places fill up early: booking, or having dinner around 19:30, lets you get to the club when the doors open. After the concert the neighborhood stays lively until late, and at Largo itself the weekend dance nights get going.
A concert at the end of November
Late November is the heart of the Roman club season. November 28 is a Saturday: if you're coming from out of town, maybe from Salento, you can arrive the same day, spend the afternoon between Porta Maggiore and Pigneto, go to the concert and leave on Sunday after a morning at Parco degli Acquedotti. At this time of year you cross Largo's garden in a coat. The life of the evening moves to the Sala Main and the bistro.

In our view the Largo evening is the right opportunity for anyone who loved Le nostre guerre perdute and for anyone who wants to discover one of the most personal projects in the singer-songwriter music of southern Italy. 10 years after the first album, Carmine Tundo brings it back to a Rome club with a new band, without the sister who sang it with him: an anniversary with the flavor of a stocktaking. The advice is to listen to the album again, buy your ticket on the circuit indicated by the venue, have dinner in Pigneto and stand mid-hall, where the words come through best.
