The event

The show falls in the centenary of Dario Fo's birth and is a comic, grotesque text in which even «forbidden» subjects are tackled with irony and provocation. Its protagonists are women far apart in social condition and personal story, yet crossed by the same anxieties.

Gilberta Crispino is on stage; direction is by Mattea Fo and Donatella Massimilla. The show is in Italian.

Where it takes place: Off/Off Theatre

The theater occupies a seventeenth-century palazzo along Via Giulia, the Renaissance street, and its artistic director is Silvano Spada. Nearby are Campo de' Fiori and Ponte Sisto.
