The event
During the pandemic lockdown Malicho Vaca Valenzuela began gathering images, documents and fragments of memory on his computer. That personal archive becomes a theatrical work combining autobiography, documentary and digital performance.
Through an emotional map of Santiago de Chile, the artist links his own story to that of his city, including social uprisings and the country's political past. The work is described as an intimate and universal journey into the relationship between time, identity and memory.
Where it takes place: Teatro India
Teatro India came from the conversion of the former Mira factory, on the bank of the Tiber, an industrial area owned by the City of Rome since 1913. The main entrance is Lungotevere Vittorio Gassman 1; there is also an access from Via Luigi Pierantoni 6.
