The show is produced by Savà Produzioni Creative, as part of a tour of more than 30 dates in Italy and Europe, from November 2026 to October 2027. The March 9 date was announced as sold out when the calendar was presented, in September 2026, and the second Rome date, May 17, was added at the end of the tour. In October 2027 six more nights are added, from the 5th to the 10th, with tickets from €26.45 plus fees. The theater is reached by Metro A, Vittorio Emanuele stop, a few minutes away on foot, or from Termini. Tickets are sold through the presale network authorized by the organizer and at the theater box office. Updated information on dates and availability is on the artist's official channel, and prices are shown when you buy.
Language: a performance based on dance, music or visual acts; no English version is announced, any spoken parts are in Italian.

Performative weddings of broke millennials, food trends that are all hype and little substance, the obsession with health and youth, technologies born to serve us that ended up ruling us: Abbi pazienza is the return to the stage of the comedian, writer and radio host everyone on social media knows as piuttosto_che, after the success of Grazie per la domanda.
Pierluca Mariti in Rome: dates, times and tickets
Abbi pazienza, Be patient, has eight dates at Teatro Ambra Jovinelli: Tuesday, March 9, Monday, May 17 and October 5 to 10, 2027, starting at 21:00, except Sunday, October 10, at 19:30.
March 9
The first Rome date, Tuesday, March 9, falls in the middle of the Italian leg of the tour, between Florence and Cagliari. In the list of dates released when the tour was presented, in September 2026, it was already sold out.
May 17
The second date, Monday, May 17, is one of the last of the tour, between the two Milan nights at Teatro Lirico Giorgio Gaber and the finale in Genoa. If you didn't get a seat in March, it's your second chance.
Where to buy tickets
Tickets are sold through the presale network authorized by the organizer and at the theater box office on Via Guglielmo Pepe. The tour presentation names the artist's official channel as the reference for updated information on dates and ticket availability.
Sold-out dates
When a date sells out, beware of unauthorized resellers and check the official channel for any seats released again or new dates added, as already happened in Milan, where the tour doubled its date.
Abbi pazienza: the show
Abbi pazienza is a comic journey through the individual and collective neuroses of a society that never stops running, between personal stories and anthropological analysis: that's how the theaters hosting it and its producer present it.
The themes
The presentation lists the topics: the performative weddings of broke millennials, food trends that are all hype and little substance, the obsession with health, beauty and youth despite the passing of time, and technologies born to serve us that often end up ruling us. Pierluca Mariti looks with irony at the contradictions of the present.
Laughter as a brake
The heart of the show is an idea: in a world that demands efficiency and productivity, laughter becomes a way to jam the gears, catch your breath and recognize yourself, at least for a moment, in your own fragility. It's also the key to the title.
The title
Abbi pazienza, the presentation explains, is partly a request for a truce, partly advice to give others, and above all yourself. An everyday phrase, the kind you say 100 times a day, turned into the title of a show about rushing.
Storytelling and anthropology
The show's implicit subtitle is the double nature of its material: on one side personal stories, on the other an almost anthropological analysis of a generation's behavior. Mariti looks lightly at his own torments and those of his peers.
Who Pierluca Mariti is
Pierluca Mariti is a comedian, writer and radio host, known on social media as piuttosto_che: Abbi pazienza is his new stage show, after the success of Grazie per la domanda.
From social media to the stage
The name many people know him by comes from the internet, where his comedy content built a large following. The move to the stage is the same one many comedians of his generation have made: from short videos to an hour-and-a-half show, in front of a live audience.
Radio
Alongside comedy, Mariti works as a radio host. It's a job that trains you in the rhythm of speech and in dialogue with an audience you can't see, and you can feel it in the construction of a show made of storytelling.
The previous show
The previous show, Grazie per la domanda, is the success the new tour builds on. The Abbi pazienza presentation cites it as a reference point: the audience that saw the first show is the one that filled the second's first Rome date in a few days.
October
From Tuesday, October 5 to Sunday, October 10, 2027 the show returns to Ambra Jovinelli for six consecutive nights, at 21:00 and on Sunday at 19:30.
A European tour
The Abbi pazienza tour has more than 30 dates. In January 2027 it reaches Brussels, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Barcelona and Madrid, at venues like the Comedy Store in London, Café de la Danse in Paris and Boom Chicago in Amsterdam: a show in Italian that goes looking for its audience beyond the borders too.
The Abbi pazienza tour, from November to May
The Abbi pazienza tour starts in November 2026 and, with the October Rome dates, runs to October 2027, across Italy and Europe, with more than 30 dates.
Fall
Between November and December 2026 the first Italian stops are Bergamo, Brescia, Varese, Palermo, Catania, Pisa, Pordenone, Lecce and Taranto. Several of these dates, according to the calendar released in September, were already sold out.
Winter in Europe
In January the tour goes abroad: Brussels on the 15th, Paris on the 17th, London on the 18th, Amsterdam on the 20th, Berlin on the 21st, Barcelona on the 29th and Madrid on the 31st.
Spring in Italy
From February to May it returns to Italy, with Verona, Osimo, Viterbo, Perugia, Florence, Rome, Cagliari, Bologna, Parma, Modena, Padua, Mestre, Naples, Bari, Trento, Turin, Milan and Genoa. Rome is the city with the most nights: eight, against Milan's two.
Milan doubles up
In Milan the tour added a second night at Teatro Lirico Giorgio Gaber, May 10 and 11, 2027, announced as a new date. Rome thus has eight, spread across March, May and October, while Milan has two in a row.
If you follow live comedy, double dates are a useful clue: they show where an artist's audience is largest, and where you should move early for tickets. For Abbi pazienza, Rome is one of those cities.
A curious fact about Pierluca Mariti in Abbi pazienza at Teatro Ambra Jovinelli, March 9, May 17 and October 5 to 10, 2027
The most interesting curious fact is the contrast between the show and the theater hosting it. Abbi pazienza talks about a society that never stops running, about efficiency, about technologies that rule us. Ambra Jovinelli, opened on March 3, 1909, was born with fully electric lighting, the modern technology of its time. More than a century later, on the same stage, a comedian tells how technologies born to serve us ended up ruling us.
The second curious fact concerns the dates. March 9, 2027 falls almost exactly on the anniversary of the theater's opening, on March 3, 1909 with Raffaele Viviani and his sister Luisella. A calendar coincidence that links the new show to the theater's birth.
The third curious fact is the doubling. Of the more than 30 cities on the tour, Rome has the most nights: eight at Ambra Jovinelli, against Milan's two at Teatro Lirico Giorgio Gaber. In Rome the second date comes two months after the first, in May, when the tour is almost over and the show has been honed over dozens of nights.
Teatro Ambra Jovinelli
Teatro Ambra Jovinelli opened on March 3, 1909, built by impresario Giuseppe Jovinelli from Caserta as a luxury variety theater. It's on Via Guglielmo Pepe, in the Esquilino, and is the only Roman theater built in Art Nouveau style.
The facade
The design, after contributions by Pietro Chiodelli and Giacomo Radiconcini, was entrusted in 1907 to Ulderico Bencivenga: a two-story facade with large openings, a crown of curved lines, stucco pilasters decorated with flowers and, in the center of the entablature, a shell with a human face. The horseshoe hall originally had about 1,000 seats.
From variety to the fire
Before World War I Jovinelli was one of the capital's most important variety theaters. In the 1950s it became a cinema and variety house under the name Ambra Jovinelli, and in the 1970s an adult cinema. On April 29, 1982 a fire destroyed the building.
The rebirth
In July 1996 some young artists occupied the abandoned theater, and in 1997 the Ministry placed the facade under protection. On January 25, 2001 Ambra reopened as a comedy theater, with Serena Dandini as artistic director. Since December 26, 2010 the artistic director has been Fabrizia Pompilio.
The hall today
The restoration rebuilt its early 20th-century look and tripled the interior volume without touching the exterior: the hall was raised five meters, and beneath it the Piccolo Jovinelli, a bar and other spaces were created. The cast iron columns that once held the boxes now support the two galleries.
Something nobody tells you about Pierluca Mariti in Abbi pazienza at Teatro Ambra Jovinelli, March 9, May 17 and October 5 to 10, 2027
What nobody says is that for many people March 9 is already gone: the March Rome date was sold out from the moment the tour was presented, in September 2026. If you discover the show now, look to May 17 or the six October nights, and move fast, because the March precedent says a lot about how quickly Mariti's audience buys tickets.
The second thing concerns resellers. When a date sells out fast, tickets at inflated prices show up online on unauthorized channels. For purchases and availability, the reference remains the network named by the organizer and the artist's official channel: better to wait for seats to be released than to risk an invalid ticket.
The third is a question of audience. A show about performative weddings, food trends and the obsession with youth is written for a precise generation, today's people in their 30s and 40s. If you belong to that group, you'll recognize yourself. If you're younger or older, you'll find an affectionate and merciless portrait of your children or older siblings.
How to get to Ambra Jovinelli
Teatro Ambra Jovinelli is at Via Guglielmo Pepe 43, a short distance from Piazza Vittorio and Termini station: Metro A, Vittorio Emanuele stop, is the simplest option.
By metro
From the Vittorio Emanuele stop you reach Via Guglielmo Pepe on foot in a few minutes. Alternatively, get off at Termini, where lines A and B meet, and walk through the Esquilino, a quarter of an hour at an easy pace.
By train
If you're arriving on a regional train, you can get off at Roma Laziali station, next to Termini, the closest to the theater. If you're coming from outside Rome, it's the most convenient option, checking the time of the last train home.
By car
In the evening street parking in the Esquilino is hard: better to leave your car in a parking garage around Termini and continue on foot.
My tip for Pierluca Mariti in Abbi pazienza at Teatro Ambra Jovinelli, March 9, May 17 and October 5 to 10, 2027
My tip is to go straight for May 17 or the October nights. The March date has been sold out for months; May and October are the real chances to see Abbi pazienza in Rome. Sign up for alerts on the artist's official channel and buy as soon as possible, without waiting for the last minute.
My second tip concerns the time of year. In mid-May Rome has long, mild evenings: the 21:00 show leaves time for an outdoor aperitivo in the Esquilino or Monti, and when you come out the city is still lively. It's an evening you can build calmly, unlike the cold evenings of March.
The third concerns attitude. Abbi pazienza is about rushing, efficiency and technologies that run our lives: in our opinion the best way to enjoy it is to arrive unhurried, really turn off your phone and allow yourself an hour and a half of truce. It's exactly what the title asks.
Another well-known fact, yet one rarely mentioned
It's well known that Ambra Jovinelli is Rome's home of comedy, from the 2001 reopening with Serena Dandini to Fabrizia Pompilio's management. It's mentioned much less often that its comic calling dates back to the early 20th century: in 1910 Ettore Petrolini signed with Giuseppe Jovinelli the contract that launched him, and the documents of that relationship are kept in the Petrolini collection of the Biblioteca e Museo teatrale del Burcardo. Between 1919 and 1921 Totò made his debut there and became its darling, presenting himself as an impersonator of Gustavo De Marco.
A second rarely mentioned fact concerns boxing: in the 1940s and 1950s the hall also hosted boxing matches, with the ring set up in the theater. A place of popular entertainment in all its forms, from variety to sport.
The third concerns the building: the restoration after the 1982 fire raised the hall five meters and tripled the interior volume, without touching the Art Nouveau facade protected by the Ministry. If you enter Ambra today, you walk up to the orchestra level: a detail few notice, and one that tells the story of the reconstruction.
The right photo to take at Pierluca Mariti in Abbi pazienza at Teatro Ambra Jovinelli, March 9, May 17 and October 5 to 10, 2027
The photo to take is the facade, from the opposite sidewalk of Via Guglielmo Pepe, in the evening light with the show's poster in view. The upper part keeps the 1909 Art Nouveau design: the wavy entablature, the flowered stucco, the shell with the human face in the center. On May 17, with the long spring light, you can still photograph the facade against a bright sky before the show.
Inside, during the show, no photos or filming: out of respect for the performer and the people next to you, and because in storytelling comedy the jokes are the author's property. Before the start, if the staff allows, look up at the proscenium arch, where a plaque still reads G. Jovinelli, 1909, and at the cast iron columns supporting the galleries.
The last photo is taken on the way out, toward Piazza Vittorio, with the arcades lit up. In the gardens of the square is the Porta Alchemica, the Alchemical Door, with its enigmatic inscriptions: at night, under the streetlights, it's an image that rounds off an evening devoted to the neuroses of the present.
The Esquilino around Ambra Jovinelli
The Esquilino is the neighborhood between Termini, Santa Maria Maggiore and Porta Maggiore, with the late 19th-century buildings around Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II built after Italian Unification: one of Rome's most multiethnic neighborhoods.
Piazza Vittorio
Piazza Vittorio is a large square surrounded by arcades, and in the gardens at its center is the Alchemical Door, worth looking for before the show. Under the arcades, in the evening, the languages and cuisines of the neighborhood meet: a 10-minute stroll that sets you up well for a show about the habits, food and otherwise, of our times.
The market
A few steps away is the Nuovo Mercato Esquilino, with spices, vegetables and products from half the world: a daytime market, to visit in the morning if you spend the day in the area. For a show that pokes fun at food trends, it's a themed visit.
Toward Monti
Walking up toward Santa Maria Maggiore and beyond you reach Monti, the neighborhood of workshops and small squares between the basilica and the Forums: the page on the Monti neighborhood helps you choose a route before or after the show.
Santa Maria Maggiore and Porta Maggiore
At the top of the hill is Santa Maria Maggiore, with the Esquiline obelisk behind the apse: a stop before the show, on May evenings still in daylight. To the east you reach Porta Maggiore, the great arch of the ancient aqueducts, which at night, lit up, shows its full bulk.
Some important events that happened here in history
The history of Ambra Jovinelli reads in dates. On March 3, 1909 the theater opens with Raffaele Viviani and his sister Luisella, brought in by Giuseppe Jovinelli. In 1910 Ettore Petrolini signs with Jovinelli the contract that launches him. Between 1919 and 1921 Totò makes his debut and becomes the audience's darling. In the 1940s and 1950s the hall also hosts boxing matches, with the ring set up in the theater.
In the 1950s it becomes a cinema and variety house under its current name, and in the 1970s an adult cinema. On April 29, 1982 the fire destroys the building. In July 1996 comes the occupation by young artists, in 1997 the Ministry's protection of the facade, and on January 25, 2001 the reopening as a comedy theater with Serena Dandini. On December 26, 2010 Fabrizia Pompilio's management begins.
Abbi pazienza fits into this story as one of the shows of the new comedy, born online and arrived at the theater: a generation of writers who start on social media and find in historic halls, like the one that belonged to Petrolini and Totò, the place to test themselves before a live audience.
Who has passed through Pierluca Mariti in Abbi pazienza at Teatro Ambra Jovinelli, March 9, May 17 and October 5 to 10, 2027
The Ambra Jovinelli stage has seen more than a century of Italian comedy. In the Jovinelli family years there were Raffaele Viviani, Ettore Petrolini, Gustavo De Marco and Totò, and then Gennaro Pasquariello, Armando Gill, Romolo Balzani, Claudio Villa, the De Rege brothers, Nino Taranto, Lino Banfi, Fiorenzo Fiorentini, Franco Franchi and Ciccio Ingrassia, Rita Pavone, Alberto Sordi and Fanfulla.
After the 2001 reopening came Ascanio Celestini, Marco Paolini, Lillo e Greg, Neri Marcorè, Valerio Mastandrea, Sabina and Corrado Guzzanti, Vincenzo Salemme, Lella Costa, Moni Ovadia, Silvio Orlando and Paolo Rossi. Under Fabrizia Pompilio the program has hosted Stefano Accorsi, Massimo Ranieri, Virginia Raffaele, Pierfrancesco Favino, Paola Cortellesi, Elio Germano and the works of Mattia Torre. In the 2026/2027 season it welcomes, among others, Luca Bizzarri and Arianna Porcelli Safonov.
Between March and October 2027 Via Guglielmo Pepe welcomes Pierluca Mariti, with broke millennials, trendy diets and the technologies that rule us. A comedian born online, on the stage where 20th-century comedy took shape.
How to plan the evening
With a 21:00 start and a theater a few minutes from Termini, the Abbi pazienza evening is easy to plan, both if you live in Rome and if you're coming from out of town.
If you work downtown
March 9 is a Tuesday and May 17 a Monday: two weeknights; in October the nights run from Tuesday to Sunday. Leave the office, take the metro to Vittorio Emanuele, have an early dinner in the Esquilino and be at the theater a quarter of an hour early. On the way out, the metro or the taxis around Piazza Vittorio take you home.
If you're coming from outside Rome
Being close to Termini and Roma Laziali station makes Ambra one of the most convenient theaters if you arrive by train. For the May date, a long weekend in the city with the show on Monday night is worth considering, checking the time of the last train if you're going home the same day.
In company
A show about a generation's neuroses is more fun with friends your age: recognizing yourself in the stories while glancing at whoever is sitting next to you is part of the fun. If you're buying for several people, make a single purchase to get seats together.
What to expect from an evening with Pierluca Mariti
Abbi pazienza is a storytelling comedy show, built on personal stories and observations about society: if you know Mariti from his online content you'll find the same eye, in a longer and more structured form.
From short video to stage
Online comedy content lasts a few seconds or a few minutes, while a stage show needs a thread that holds for the whole evening. In the Abbi pazienza presentations the thread is stated: rushing, and patience as the answer.
The tone
The presentation speaks of irony and lightness, applied to the torments of the author and his generation. It's not aggressive comedy: it's an amused look at everyday contradictions, from the dinner table to the phone.
Orchestra or gallery: how to choose your seat
The Ambra Jovinelli hall has an orchestra level and two galleries, supported by the original cast iron columns: for a storytelling comedy show, your choice of seat matters.
The orchestra
In the orchestra you're close to the stage and catch the expressions and pauses, which in storytelling comedy do half the work. It's the best choice if you've followed Mariti for a while and want to see him up close.
The galleries
From the galleries you take in the horseshoe hall, with the audience laughing below you: a different way to experience the evening, and usually cheaper. Prices for each section are shown when you buy on the authorized network.
Where to eat before or after the show
The Esquilino is the right neighborhood if you want Chinese, Indian, Bangladeshi, Ethiopian or Middle Eastern food at low prices. For a Roman trattoria, head up toward Santa Maria Maggiore or move to Monti.
With a 21:00 start
For every night there are two options: an aperitivo around 19:00 and dinner after the show, or an early dinner, around 19:30, at one of the places near the theater.
In May
On May 17 evenings are mild: an outdoor table in Monti, after the show, is the best way to end the night. On Mondays some places are closed, so book ahead.
Accessibility, age and practical information
After the restoration the Ambra Jovinelli hall is five meters above street level: if you have accessibility needs, contact the theater before buying for directions on routes and suitable seats.
Age
Abbi pazienza is a comedy show about the neuroses of today's adults: weddings, diets, work, technology. In our opinion it works well from age 16 up, and speaks above all to people between 30 and 45.
Arriving on time
The Ambra foyer fills quickly on sold-out nights: be at the theater a quarter of an hour early. For a show about rushing, arriving in a rush would be a paradox.
March, May and October in Rome: three seasons
The dates of Abbi pazienza fall at three very different moments of the Roman year: late winter, full spring and early autumn.
March 9
In early March the evenings are still cool, and the week is full of comedy: Parioli Costanzo with Basta poco, Michela Giraud at Brancaccio on the 7th and 8th, and Barutz at Sala Umberto on the 8th. If you have a ticket for the 9th, you can build a whole week of comedy theater.
May 17
In mid-May Rome enters the season of evenings outdoors: the walk from Piazza Vittorio to Monti, after the show, needs no coat. It's the best date if you're coming from out of town and want to pair the theater with a long weekend in the city.
