The event

Koko Moon is an Italian musician, singer and songwriter whose sound is inspired by Lynch and made of light and shadow. Bold basslines intertwine with shimmering synthesizers and walls of sound that rise and dissolve. Melodies flow naturally, while the lyrics draw on lived experience, under the sun as under the moonlight, and speak of dreams, nights, lunar phases, demons and ever-changing inner landscapes.

Her influences include underground aesthetics and shoegaze: deep reverbs and ethereal effects blend with enveloping pop melodies. Before her solo path she played with Be Forest until 2019, an experience that took her on tour around the world, onto the stages of major festivals and to a performance for KEXP. In 2021 she released her first album, «Shedding Skin». The new album «Let the Wild run at Night» is out on Urlaub Dischi.
