The concert presents Gregory Hutchinson's new album, which celebrates the music of Miles Davis in a personal way, starting from the impulse of the great drummers who accompanied the trumpeter, from Philly Joe to Jimmy Cobb to Tony Williams. The record pairs three original pieces by Hutchinson, «Marley's Mood», «Ellehcem's Time» and «I'm Done», with Davis's repertoire, from his bebop origins in the 1950s to post-bop and the electric era of «Bitches Brew».
