The event

The exhibition tells how, over six decades, WWF helped change the way the country looks at nature, turning ecology from the interest of a few into a collective heritage.

The route starts from the origins of WWF and the pioneering vision of its founder Fulco Pratesi, passes through the creation of the first Oases and the major campaigns to protect species and habitats, and reaches the alliances built with civil society and the business world. It is the story of a cultural revolution that redefined the relationship between people and the environment and that, according to the organization, continues today.

The figures cited by the exhibition: thanks to WWF Italia's work, over 100 Oases have been created and more than 30,000 hectares of land protected, supporting biodiversity conservation and the protection of endangered habitats and species.
