The event

It is a show of strong visionary tension, a dialogue between theater, video and live video, born from a reflection on Dostoevsky's story «White Nights», passing through Zygmunt Bauman's «Liquid Love». Several visual and temporal levels intertwine in the search for a deeper meaning in the relationships of our time.

On stage are three actors and authors of a story that splits in two, between parallels and second dimensions. Dostoevsky's text is both an object of inquiry and a metatheatrical tool, and the acting is described as desaturated, freed from clichés and theatrical superstructures.

Where it takes place: Teatro Vascello

The theater on Via Giacinto Carini still recalls in its name the 1946 Vascello movie house, renovated and turned into a theater hall in 1989. Today the seating is a 400-seat tiered bank, reconfigurable according to the staging.
