Hayley Williams at Cavea, Auditorium Parco della Musica, June 8, 2027
Hayley Williams sings in Rome on Tuesday, June 8, 2027 at 21:00, at Cavea, Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone, Viale Pietro de Coubertin 30, with "The Hayley Williams Show", the concert included in Roma Summer Fest 2027. You get there by metro A to Flaminio and then tram 2, getting off at the Flaminia/Reni or Apollodoro stops, or by buses 910 from Termini, 53 and 982. According to the official Auditorium page, tickets start at €63.25 and are sold from that page's buy button, which links to the presale network authorized by the organizers, or at the complex's box office. On Cavea concert days Auditorium closes to the public at 16:00.
Hayley Williams in Rome at a glance: date, venue and tour
The Hayley Williams concert at Cavea is one of only two Italian dates in 2027: the night before, Monday, June 7, the singer plays Carroponte in Milan. The two Italian nights open the new European leg of her world tour.
Date, time and place
Tuesday, June 8, 2027, starting at 21:00, at Cavea, the open-air amphitheater at the center of the complex designed by Renzo Piano. Auditorium lists the evening in the Pop/Rock section and includes it in the Roma Summer Fest 2027 lineup.
The tour route
"The Hayley Williams Show" officially kicked off on September 3 in the United States. The European leg starts in Milan on June 7, passes through Rome and continues in Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Ireland, where the dates are shared with Fontaines D.C., before ending in the United Kingdom with concerts in Glasgow, Cardiff and London.
Why the tour is expanding
According to the promoter's press release, the expansion comes after instant sellouts at venues like Espaço Unimed in São Paulo, Forest Hills Stadium in Queens and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. For a singer who built her career with a band, it's a sign that the audience follows her on her own too.
The Hayley Williams Show: what you'll hear at Cavea
"The Hayley Williams Show" will include material from all three of the singer's solo albums, plus some surprises announced by the organizers: Petals for Armor from 2020, Flowers for Vases/Descansos from 2021 and Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party from 2025.
A new era after Ego Death
At the start of 2026 Hayley Williams took Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party on tour, performing it in full every night. The North American, British and European legs of that tour sold out in seconds, with several surprise guests. The new show closes that chapter and opens a phase in which the set list draws on her whole solo output.
Songs to know
From the first album come Simmer, the single that in January 2020 launched her solo career, and Leave It Alone. From the latest record come the songs that earned her four Grammy nominations: Mirtazapine, Glum, Parachute. In 2025 the record first came out as 17 singles released all at once, then as a full album of 20 songs.
The set list
The set list isn't published, and the promised surprises remain surprises. If you're coming hoping for Paramore's Misery Business or Ain't It Fun, know that the tour is openly dedicated to the solo records. Everything else will be a surprise, for better or worse.
Who Hayley Williams is: the biography
Hayley Nichole Williams was born in Meridian, Mississippi, on December 27, 1988: a singer-songwriter, musician and entrepreneur, she's the voice of Paramore and has won three Grammys with the band.
From Meridian to Franklin
At 13 she moved with her mother to Franklin, Tennessee, after her parents' divorce. In Franklin she sang in a funk band, The Factory, where she met bassist Jeremy Davis, and took singing lessons from Brett Manning. There she also met brothers Zac and Josh Farro, who were looking for a singer: she brought Davis along, and Paramore was born.
Paramore and the first record at 16
The band formed in 2004 and signed with Fueled by Ramen, a label linked to Atlantic. The first song written was Conspiracy, which ended up on the debut album All We Know Is Falling, released when Hayley was 16 and later certified gold.
Riot! and Misery Business
The breakthrough came in 2007 with Riot!, driven by Misery Business, a single certified six times platinum. In 2009 Brand New Eyes consolidated the band's position in American rock. In 2013 the self-titled album, Paramore, marked their commercial and critical peak.
The Grammys with the band
Ain't It Fun, written with guitarist Taylor York, won Paramore their first Grammy for best rock song, in 2015: according to published records, Hayley Williams was the first woman since 1999 to win in that category. After the pop-influenced After Laughter in 2017 and a long break, This Is Why came out in 2023, bringing the band two more Grammys, including best rock album: Paramore thus became the first rock band with a female lead singer to win that category in its 31-year history.
The solo career
On January 22, 2020 Simmer came out, her first solo single. Petals for Armor arrived on May 8, 2020, preceded by two EPs released one song at a time during the months of the pandemic. In February 2021 came Flowers for Vases/Descansos, written during lockdown, produced by Daniel James and recorded entirely by her, at home. The record was announced only the day before its release.
Ego Death and Post Atlantic
On August 28, 2025 Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party came out, released through her new independent label, Post Atlantic Records. At the 2026 Grammys the album was nominated for best alternative music album, and three songs received nominations: Mirtazapine for best rock performance, Glum for best rock song, Parachute for best alternative performance. The record also won a Libera Award, the American independent music award.
Collaborations
She has guested on dozens of other artists' records: Airplanes with B.o.B in 2010, Stay the Night with Zedd in 2013, Castles Crumbling with Taylor Swift in 2023, Turnstile's Seein' Stars, Moses Sumney's I Like It I Like It and David Byrne's What Is the Reason for It? in 2025. With Byrne she also wrote Open the Door, for the soundtrack of the animated film The Twits. Taylor Swift wanted Paramore as the opening act for the first concert of the Eras Tour and the whole European leg.
Power Snatch
In 2026 Hayley Williams announced a new project, Power Snatch, a duo with Australian musician Daniel James, already the producer of her solo records. The first official song is Assignment.
Beyond music
Since 2016 she has co-owned Good Dye Young, a line of hair dyes, which in 2022 opened its first salon in Nashville. The same year she launched the podcast Everything Is Emo on BBC Sounds. Billboard ranked her 13th on its list of the 50 greatest rock singers of all time.
Hayley Williams's discography, with and without Paramore
Hayley Williams's discography includes six studio albums with Paramore and three solo. To prepare for the Cavea concert, the three solo records are enough.
With Paramore
- 2005: All We Know Is Falling.
- 2007: Riot!
- 2009: Brand New Eyes.
- 2013: Paramore.
- 2017: After Laughter.
- 2023: This Is Why.
Solo
- 2020: Petals for Armor.
- 2021: Flowers for Vases/Descansos.
- 2025: Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party.
The sound of the solo records
Compared with early Paramore's pop punk and emo pop, the solo work draws on indie pop and funk, with plenty of electronics and the bass as the driving instrument. If you only know Misery Business, you'll find a different singer. If you've followed her in recent years, you'll find the same one, freer.
A curious fact about Hayley Williams at Cavea, Auditorium Parco della Musica, June 8, 2027
The most interesting curious fact about the Rome concert is in the tour calendar. In Ireland the European leg of "The Hayley Williams Show" is shared with Fontaines D.C., the Dublin band that comes to Rome 10 days later, on June 18, at Ippodromo delle Capannelle for Rock in Roma. If you follow alternative rock, you can put together a small Roman double in June, with two concerts a week and a half apart, in two places that couldn't be more different.
The second curious fact concerns how the latest record came out. In July 2025, according to published accounts, anyone buying a new Good Dye Young dye got a code to download 17 unreleased songs from the singer's website, for that day only. On August 1 the songs came out as separate singles on the platforms, and only on August 28 did they become an album, with two more tracks. It's a way of releasing music that says a lot about the freedom she gained after the end of her major-label contract.
The third: the voice. It's described as a soprano with a four-octave range. In an open-air cavea, without the ceiling of a hall, it's that voice that carries the concert.
Cavea at Auditorium, Rome's summer stage
Cavea is the open-air amphitheater named after Luciano Berio, around which Renzo Piano arranged in a fan the three large halls of Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone. In summer it hosts the big concerts.
The center of the city of music
Piano described the project as building musical instruments: the three halls are sound boxes, clad in lead on brick bases, that from outside look like three huge beetles. Cavea is the empty space that holds them together, a tiered square that becomes an auditorium on summer evenings.
The Roman villa under Cavea
During the excavations for the foundations, the remains of a Roman villa from the 3rd century BC emerged, built on the site of an archaic farm from the 6th century BC. The finds are displayed in a small archaeological museum under Cavea, which you can visit inside the complex.
An open-air concert
A concert at Cavea is an open-air evening in every sense: the June light, the day's heat fading around 22:00, the sky above the tiers. For an artist who chose to name the tour after herself, the open space conveys the idea of a show better than any hall.
Something nobody tells you about Hayley Williams at Cavea, Auditorium Parco della Musica, June 8, 2027
What nobody tells you is that on Cavea concert days Auditorium closes to the public at 16:00, according to the hours published by the complex. An afternoon between the archaeological museum, the hanging gardens and the foyer bar before the concert on June 8 doesn't work: between 16:00 and the gate opening the complex is busy preparing the evening. Spend the afternoon elsewhere, and come back to the complex for the concert.
The second thing: June 8, 2027 is a Tuesday. A weekday concert at 21:00 means the evening overlaps with the commute home, and tram 2 and the buses run on weekday schedules. It's an advantage on the way there, with frequent runs, less so on the way back, when evening frequencies drop. If you have a train to catch the next day, keep it in mind.
The third: the night before, Hayley Williams plays Milan. If you live between the two cities, you can choose. If you're coming from far away, know that the Rome date is the second of a long leg, and that in the first nights of a tour the band is often at its best.

My tip for Hayley Williams at Cavea, Auditorium Parco della Musica, June 8, 2027
It's better to spend the afternoon in the neighborhood and arrive at Auditorium around 20:00, having already eaten. The complex closes at 16:00 on Cavea concert days, so the time before the show should be spent outside: MAXXI, a few minutes' walk away, or a walk toward Ponte della Musica and the Tiber, when the June light starts to drop.
Second tip: listen to the three solo albums first, in the order they came out. Petals for Armor to understand where she started, Flowers for Vases for the most intimate side, Ego Death for the singer she is today. The concert is built on those three records, and if you arrive knowing them you'll enjoy the surprises too.
Third tip: bring a light jacket. In June Roman evenings are warm, but on the open-air tiers, around 23:00, the air changes. And book your ride home before going in: at the end of a full concert, the tram and the Flaminio taxis fill up in a few minutes.
How to get to Auditorium for Hayley Williams
Auditorium Parco della Musica is reached by tram 2, Flaminia/Reni or Apollodoro stops, and by buses 910, 53 and 982. The nearest metro is Flaminio, on line A.
Metro A and tram 2
From Flaminio station you come out on Piazzale Flaminio and take tram 2 along Via Flaminia, toward Piazza Mancini. Get off at Flaminia/Reni or Apollodoro and walk through the Villaggio Olimpico to Viale Pietro de Coubertin. From the historic center it's the simplest option.
The 910 from Termini
Bus 910 leaves from Piazza dei Cinquecento, in front of Termini station, and reaches Auditorium with no changes: if you're staying near the station it's the most straightforward option.
The 53 and the 982
The 53 links Piazza Mancini and the center. The 982 comes from Viale XVII Olimpiade area and Quattro Venti station. For updated times, use the Rome transit company's journey planner.
By car
The stretch of Viale Pietro de Coubertin in front of Auditorium is closed to cars. The complex has a paid internal parking lot with limited spaces, and on Cavea concert nights the streets of the Villaggio Olimpico fill up early.
Getting back
Auditorium doesn't publish the length of the concert. With a 21:00 start, you'll be out around 23:00 or shortly after: tram 2 to Piazzale Flaminio and then metro A, or a taxi booked in advance.
Another well-known fact, yet one that's rarely mentioned
Everyone knows Hayley Williams is the singer of Paramore. Few remember how early it all started: All We Know Is Falling came out when she was 16, and the record turned 20 in 2025. That girl from Franklin who wrote Conspiracy with two brothers from the neighborhood has arrived at Cavea in Rome with 20 years of career behind her, and her story coincides with the story of a whole generation of American rock listeners.
The second fact known to fans, and almost never mentioned, concerns the 2014 award. Billboard gave her its first Trailblazer Award, reserved for an artist who, by breaking conventions, has paved the way for other talents. Today the tour press release names among those who cite her as an inspiration artists as different as Chappell Roan, Doechii and Billie Eilish. The award, 12 years later, seems to have got it right.
The third concerns independence. Ego Death is one of the most acclaimed albums of 2025 and was released without a major label behind it, through Williams's Post Atlantic, distributed by Secretly Distribution. Four Grammy nominations for a self-released record are a rare achievement.
How to plan the Hayley Williams evening
The Hayley Williams concert starts at 21:00 on Tuesday, June 8, 2027: the evening works well if you spend the afternoon in the Flaminio district and have an early dinner.
The afternoon
MAXXI is a few minutes' walk from Auditorium, and its architecture is a counterpoint to Renzo Piano's. If you'd rather be outdoors, you can walk down to the Tiber and Ponte della Musica, which leads on foot to the Foro Italico.
Dinner
Between the Villaggio Olimpico, Via Flaminia and Piazza Mancini there are pizzerias, trattorias and bars frequented mostly by residents. With a 21:00 concert, dinner is around 19:00. On a Tuesday in June it's easier to find a table than on the weekend, but booking is still the prudent choice.
After the concert
Milvian Bridge, a few minutes away, is the area that stays lively longest, even on weekdays. If you're staying in the center, you can go back on tram 2 and walk from Piazzale Flaminio toward Piazza del Popolo.
The right photo to take at Hayley Williams at Cavea, Auditorium Parco della Musica, June 8, 2027
The right photo of the Hayley Williams concert is taken from the top of Cavea, before the start, with the audience filling the tiers and Renzo Piano's three lead beetles behind. In early June in Rome the sun sets late: arriving at 20:00 you still have warm light on the roofs, and within half an hour you move into the blue of evening, with the stage lighting up.
During the concert, use your phone sparingly and well, following the complex's rules. An arm raised through a whole song blocks the view for those behind, and no video shot from the tiers captures the sound of a four-octave voice. One shot during the encore, when the lights open onto the crowd, is enough to remember the evening.
The advice is always the same: photograph the people, not the stage. The friends in their teenage Paramore T-shirts, the younger sister at her first concert, the crowd singing Simmer. The stage is in a thousand archives. Your evening isn't.
Some important events that happened here in history
The Auditorium area has a history much older than the complex. During the excavations for the foundations, the remains of a Roman villa from the 3rd century BC emerged, built on the site of a small archaic farm from the 6th century BC. Renzo Piano had to change the project and move two of the three halls to the west, almost to the Corso di Francia viaduct: the fan shape around Cavea is also the result of that find.
Dates to remember
- 1936: the Augusteo hall is demolished, and Rome is left for over 60 years without an auditorium built for music.
- 1992: the city council chooses the Villaggio Olimpico area.
- 1993: Renzo Piano wins the invitation-only competition, with acoustician Jürgen Reinhold of the Müller-BBM firm and landscape architect Franco Zagari.
- April 21, 2002: on the day of Rome's birthday, Sala Sinopoli and Sala Petrassi are inaugurated.
- December 21, 2002: Sala Santa Cecilia opens.
- 2003: Auditorium becomes home to Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia season.
- 2006: the Rome Film Fest begins.
- 2020: the city council decides to name the complex after Ennio Morricone.
Among these dates, every summer, Cavea becomes the city's open-air stage. The June 8, 2027 concert adds to that history as the first Rome date of Hayley Williams's solo tour.
Who has passed through Hayley Williams at Cavea, Auditorium Parco della Musica, June 8, 2027
Through Cavea and the halls around it, over more than 20 years, have passed musicians of every genre that Auditorium hosts each season: the orchestra and chorus of Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, the stars of the Rome Film Fest, the jazz musicians of the Roma Jazz Festival, the singer-songwriters and bands of the summer series. The complex is in itself a pantheon of Italian music: the halls bear the names of Giuseppe Sinopoli, Goffredo Petrassi and Santa Cecilia, Cavea that of Luciano Berio, the whole that of Ennio Morricone.
Even before the musicians, the people who shaped the place passed through here. Renzo Piano, who conceived the halls as instruments. Jürgen Reinhold, who handled the acoustics. Franco Zagari, who designed the greenery that comes down from Villa Glori hill. And, 25 centuries earlier, the anonymous owners of the Roman villa that forced the project to change shape.
On June 8 the list adds a singer who brought her band to open the first concert of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, who has sung with David Byrne and who now releases records on her own label. For Rome's alternative rock audience, it's one of the most awaited evenings of summer 2027.
Accessibility and young people at the Hayley Williams concert
For audience members with disabilities, it's best to write before buying to Fondazione Musica per Roma, at info@musicaperroma.it, to find out about the dedicated places at Cavea and how access works.
People with reduced mobility
Cavea is a tiered amphitheater: if you have mobility difficulties, ask in advance for an easily reached seat, arrive well ahead of time and tell the staff about your needs right away. The internal parking lot, with limited spaces, is the most convenient solution for those who can't walk far.
With young people
Hayley Williams is a name that spans generations: parents who listened to Riot! in 2007 can bring their teenage children who know her from Castles Crumbling with Taylor Swift. The entry rules for minors are those of Auditorium's box office rules. With a concert that ends after 23:00 on a Tuesday, it's a long evening for younger kids.
The neighborhood around Auditorium
Auditorium covers about 55,000 square meters between Villa Glori, the Villaggio Olimpico, the Corso di Francia viaduct and Viale Maresciallo Pilsudski, in a part of Rome built in the 20th century.
Villaggio Olimpico
The Villaggio Olimpico is the neighborhood you walk through after getting off the tram. Near the Flaminia/Reni stop is MAXXI. Not far away is the Teatro Olimpico.
Toward the Tiber and Ponte Milvio
From Auditorium you walk down toward the river and Ponte della Musica, the pedestrian bridge leading to Foro Italico. Further north, past Piazza Mancini, is Ponte Milvio, one of north Rome's evening meeting points.
Toward the center
Tram 2 takes you back to Piazzale Flaminio, the gateway to Villa Borghese and the Tridente. For the full history of the complex there's our page on Auditorium Parco della Musica.
Where to eat before or after Hayley Williams
On Cavea concert days Auditorium closes to the public at 16:00, so plan dinner in the neighborhood, before the gates open.
In the neighborhood
Between the Villaggio Olimpico, Via Flaminia and Piazza Mancini there are local pizzerias, trattorias and bars. On a Tuesday evening in June they're less crowded than on the weekend, but with a few thousand people arriving for the concert it's best to book.
Ponte Milvio and Flaminio
If you'd rather eat afterward, the widest choice is at Ponte Milvio, where places stay open until late. Toward Piazzale Flaminio and Piazza del Popolo the choice is that of the historic center, with historic center prices.
The criterion
I don't name places: they change management more often than tours change set lists. Choose places where residents eat, not the ones with the menu photographed in the window.
June in Rome: the season of open-air concerts
June is the month Rome moves music outdoors: Cavea at Auditorium, Rock in Roma at Ippodromo delle Capannelle, the summer arenas. The days are the longest of the year, the evenings warm, and concerts start while the sky is still bright.
The weather
Early June evenings are generally pleasant, but a summer thunderstorm can never be ruled out: check the forecast and keep in mind that the concert is outdoors.
An alternative double
On Friday, June 18, 10 days after Hayley Williams, Fontaines D.C. play Rock in Roma, at Ippodromo delle Capannelle: the Irish band shares some dates of her European tour. If you prefer indoor halls, at the end of the season you'll find Verdi's Il trovatore at Rome Opera House, from June 22.

In closing
At open-air concerts the same advice always applies: arrive early and stay until the last song. For Hayley Williams I'll add one thing. Listen to the three solo records before you leave home: the singer who takes the Cavea stage isn't the girl of Misery Business, she's an artist who founded her own label and fills the Hollywood Bowl under her own name. A June evening, under the Flaminio sky, is the right way to discover her.
