Esc Atelier Autogestito is a self-managed social space in San Lorenzo, at Via dei Volsci 159 (00185 Rome): public assemblies, help desks for migrants and precarious workers, book presentations, independent publishing festivals and, since this fall, a live music series. What Esc Atelier Autogestito is and what you hear

Esc is first of all a place for talk. In the calendar published by Gancio de Roma between September 2025 and May 2026 you find transfeminist public assemblies linked to Non Una di Meno, the assemblies of the Equipaggi di Terra in support of the Global Sumud Flotilla, meetings on ecology, and workshops with Kurdish activists of the Women Weaving Future network. Here the concert is the exception, and Zero says so too, noting that Esc has rarely hosted live shows of this kind.

The first location was a 400-square-meter warehouse on Via dei Reti, occupied in November 2004 by students and precarious workers together with Action. In 2006 Il Giornale told the story from the point of view of the building's owner and noted a curious detail.
