The event

The show sets Elizabeth Tudor and Mary Stuart, the two great queens, face to face in an unexpected setting: a boxing ring. The writing is a duel at times grotesque, with ironic tones and a play of masks.

In the finale the masks fall and a more intimate side of the two characters emerges, far from the opening challenge. Author, direction and cast are not given in the program listing.

Where it takes place: Teatro Vittoria

A square in the Testaccio district (see Testaccio) forms the setting of Teatro Vittoria, which in 2027 also offers Di isole e di città and Donna non rieducabile.
