Updated November 6, 2026.

The event

The project, promoted with the Lazio Region, tells the link between human health, biodiversity and the environment, starting from the international «One Health» approach, which holds that the health of people, of animals and of ecosystems are interdependent. Protecting the environment thus also becomes prevention of health risks.

The nine «One Health Days - Integrated Wellbeing Festival» bring theme stations, workshops and playful educational activities to the park. The days are October 25, every Sunday in November, Saturday, November 28 and December 6 and 8; the 2-for-1 offer is valid for those who take part in the activities: for every paying visitor, the other admission is free.

On Saturday, November 28 there is also the conference «Biodiversità e Salute: la sfida One Health» (Biodiversity and Health: The One Health Challenge), a day of scientific and popular insight on biodiversity, environment, food, exercise and health, followed by the full screening of David Attenborough's documentary «Ocean». Conference and screening are free with mandatory booking until seats run out, by writing to tirscientifico@bioparco.it.
