Italy, the year 2042: gender violence has become so pervasive it is out of control, and the State, after several failed attempts at awareness and repression, enacts the "Vietato innamorarsi Decree." Love is banned from people's lives for good. If passion is irrational and inexorably leads human beings to violence, the only possible solution is to eliminate the problem at its root! It is the day before the celebration of the "Vietato Innamorarsi Decree," and the Rebellion is ready to act. Through an immersive situation, the audience faces adventures and ethical choices that will lead it to reflect on the relational dynamics of love, violence, the sense of belonging to a community and the desire to express oneself. A dystopian reality, not too far from our everyday life, to experience firsthand what it means not to be able to love. "Vietato Innamorarsi" is a performative role-playing game, a collective creation that brings together the artistic cores of Qui e Ora Residenza Teatrale and La Confraternita del Chianti, a research project aimed at bringing the languages of contemporary theater together with the world of role-playing games. A participatory artistic work, to question relational dynamics and come up with proposals to counter phenomena that sadly are still present in our everyday lives, in relationships, in the family, at work and in society.
