The quintet brings together Kirk Knuffke on cornet, Emanuele Parrini on violin, Pasquale Innarella on tenor sax, Silvia Bolognesi on double bass and Ermanno Baron on drums. During the evening the Pino Sallusti prize is presented, dedicated to young double bassists.

November 13 has a second moment at the Villetta Social Lab: a jazz lesson by Stefano Zenni on John Coltrane, a hundred years after his birth. It is free and takes place at another venue of the festival.

Garbatella Jazz Winter is the special winter edition of the Garbatella Jazz Festival, designed to celebrate the festival's twentieth anniversary. It is promoted by Roma Capitale with Zètema Progetto Cultura and produced by the cultural association Cara Garbatella. The program may change.
