The event

Massimo Recalcati is one of the best-known Italian psychoanalysts and a regular presence in lectio magistralis at the country's main theaters. With «Miracoli» he brings his knowledge of the human soul to the stage, exploring new languages after the success of his essays and public lectures.

The starting point is the miracles of Jesus told in the Gospels: water turned into wine at Cana, the multiplication of the loaves and fishes, the healings, the resurrections. The center of the talk is not supernatural power, but the idea that the force of desire can in itself be miraculous. In this reading, the true law is not the one that subdues desire, but the one that fully realizes it.

Where it takes place: Auditorium Conciliazione

Auditorium Conciliazione is at Via della Conciliazione 4, in the Prati district, on the broad avenue leading to St. Peter's (see Prati and Borgo). Shows in the hall in 2026 and 2027 also include Alessandro Siani.
