The official description
La Pietra Parla
LA MAMMA MORTA
Under-35 artist residency, public showing performance
In the presence of a corpse, everyday life is suspended. Madness takes over. Surreal and grotesque characters are subjects of their own fate, moving by inertia, without vigor, on the outskirts of a city that rots like their lives.

Where it takes place: Centrale Preneste Teatro
The theater is at Via Alberto da Giussano 58 and is part of the cultural fabric of eastern Rome, between Pigneto and the Prenestina. It's run by the social cooperative Ruotalibera, active since 1977. Its website also brings together Centro Eufemia and an area for workshops and training, alongside the evening program.
This evening is an example of young contemporary theater: the presentation speaks of an artist residency and a performance showing the work to the public. If you're looking for other dates at the same venue, see the page on Moby Dick by Roberto Negri, while the area is described in Pigneto, what to see.
