Where it takes place: Piazza Duomo in Orvieto

Orvieto lies in the southwestern part of Umbria, in the province of Terni, on a tuff plateau overlooking the valley of the Paglia River. The Cathedral, dedicated to Santa Maria Assunta, is a masterpiece of Italian Gothic architecture, and its facade is decorated with reliefs and sculptures by Lorenzo Maitani.
