La Notte di Mezzo, Halloween Il Passaggio in Viterbo

La Notte di Mezzo is about to arrive with a packed program of events from October 20 to November 8, for adults and children. Storytelling trails into the world of fantasy and myth, games, entertainment, themed meetings with writers and many other initiatives will once again turn the San Pellegrino quarter into a dreamland, where you can step out of your everyday life and let yourself be won over by the power of imagination. The main characters of this edition will be Morgana, Merlin and Nimue, the lady of the lake, who at Palazzo degli Alessandri will bring to life the journey of the human soul and its struggle between shadow and light, with the staging of Arthur and the ghostly knights, as a metaphor for the loss of the values that should underpin modern society. The myth of King Arthur, the "undead" king, whose story is intertwined with the northern European tradition of Halloween, had already been introduced in the 2025 edition of La Notte di Mezzo, a fading silhouette with a drawn sword on the profferlo, the outdoor stairway, of Via San Pellegrino, which made a strong impression. This year the story is taken up again and staged in the full and complete unfolding of its hidden meanings, which, even today, can remind humanity of the path toward positive universal values. But many other surprises will come, between Palazzo degli Alessandri and Palazzo Scacciaricci, which this year is again the comics venue, and the San Pellegrino quarter. The "Notte" is coming, and in Viterbo it lasts several days. The event is organized by the cultural association Argot with the patronage and support of the city and province of Viterbo. The organizers thank Mastro polistirolo of Daniele and Andrea Mancinelli for the set design contribution. All the details will be presented at the press conference to be held in the coming days at Palazzo dei Priori.
