The official presentation
How do you care for a historic garden? OCTOBER 4, NOVEMBER 21, 2026. A gardener will lead the public along the paths where stories and anecdotes intertwine with the daily acts of care that keep the garden alive. A story made of experience, passion and memory, to discover what you can't see: the silent, tireless work that underlies the balance of Villa Gregoriana. For participants it will be a chance to talk with the gardener and gather valuable tips for caring for their own green corner. November 21 at 10:30 | TALKS WITH THE GARDENER WITH INTERPRETATION IN LIS - ITALIAN SIGN LANGUAGE. TIMES. At 10:30. Duration: about 90 minutes.
Where it takes place: between the Great Waterfall and the park's paths
The theme of the meeting, caring for a historic garden, finds concrete ground at Villa Gregoriana: the site revolves around the course of the Aniene and the Great Waterfall, now rarely visible with the flow it once had. FAI has managed it since the restoration that began in 2002. The Villa Gregoriana Park page describes the site, and for the natural setting it's worth opening Valle dell'Aniene Nature Reserve.
