Official presentation of Sounds of the City
«Attraverso quali voci, quali suoni si racconta una città?»
Text from the official Cultura Roma Capitale page (service translation: “Through which voices, which sounds is a city told?”), source
The question that opens «Sounds of the City» is the one quoted in the official presentation: through which voices, which sounds is a city told? Marzia Coronati answers with her path as a radio documentarist and as a trainer in the field of sound and oral history.
The talk is one of the public events of «Ai Confini dell’Arte 2026», a festival curated by Margine Operativo, now in its tenth edition. From November 13 to December 13, 2026 it involves the neighborhoods of Torpignattara, Quadraro and Cinecittà, and all activities are free. On the same day, in the same library, the sound map of Quadraro is also presented.
