«2099. Pinocchio al Tufello» imagines a future Tufello, a mirror of a globalized world where environmental resources are exhausted and artificial intelligence has taken over humanity. Almost nobody is without cybernetic implants built into the body. There is one exception: a conscientious objector who lives in Tufello, the only «only human» man on Earth, and his name is Geppetto. Once a programmer of androids, today he finds himself living in a world where those machines are an illegal and dangerous commodity.

The authors and actors of the Collettivo 7Off/sotto 30 tell this dystopian version of the fairy tale. The event is a restituzione, meaning the moment when an artistic residency shows the public the work done. It is organized by Teatro 7 Off srl.
