Reggia di Caserta, the Royal Palace of Caserta, was designed by Luigi Vanvitelli, chosen by the king: work began on January 20, 1752 with the laying of the first stone. Vanvitelli died in 1773, before completion, and his son Carlo continued the work. The complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997, measures 247 meters long and 190 wide, has five floors above ground, about 1,200 rooms, 34 staircases and 1,742 windows.

The park, conceived by Vanvitelli and completed by his son, covers about 120 hectares and is almost 3 kilometers long. It includes an Italian garden and an English garden of about 23 hectares. Baglioni's big tours

Baglioni grew up in Monte Sacro and then in Centocelle. The 1982 "Alé-oó" tour drew about 1.5 million spectators, while in 1986 with "Assolo" he performed alone among keyboards, guitars and percussion connected to a MIDI system.

For his 50th career anniversary, in 2018, he played three concerts at the Arena di Verona. That same year and in 2019 he was artistic director and host of the Sanremo Festival. In Rome there's also Claudio Baglioni at Piazza di Siena.
