«La valigia di Charlot» is the presentation of the work done for the production of the show. It is a project of visual and figure theater that joins a dreamlike dimension and historical memory, with an imaginative plot supported by digital techniques and animated figures.

At the center is Charlot, a silent narrator who carries very Chaplinesque themes that are still current: poverty, discrimination, social inequality, abuse, power, the dehumanization of work, dictatorship and the madness of the powerful, but also the struggle for freedom and identity, altruism, poetry, passion and sharing.

The music is performed live and all the texts are taken from Chaplin's original words. The path, the presentation explains, is more poetic than technical and creates a continuous dialogue between past and present.

The show is part of «We Have a Dream», a series curated by Cantieri dello Spettacolo E.T.S. The Ministry of Culture, through the Direzione Generale Spettacolo, gave its support, and the initiative is among the winners of the Roma Capitale notice «Lo spettacolo dal vivo fuori dal Centro, anno 2026» (“Live performance outside the Center, year 2026”).
