The event

Sophocles' tragedy speaks to the present again. In a world devastated by war, Antigone defies Creon's law in the name of a higher justice, and her act becomes a cry for freedom.

An ancient story that becomes surprisingly contemporary and asks how much we are willing to risk for what we believe in. Dramaturgy is by Giuseppe Pambieri, Luca Simonelli and Lia Tanzi, direction by Lia Tanzi; on stage are Fabrizio Apolloni, Livia Cascarano and Antonia Renzella.

Where it takes place: Teatro Ciak

The Ciak took the place of Teatro Cassio, opened in the 1950s for variety shows. The program, under the artistic direction of Mariano Rigillo, mixes Teatro Stabile del Giallo productions with comedies, classics and matinees for schools.

Another recent title in the hall is Arsenico e vecchi merletti; for classics in the city there is also Non si sa come, at the Quirino.
