Sonodramma is Teatro del Lido's series devoted to sound and audio storytelling. This year it's in its fourth edition, curated by Chiara De Angelis, Irene Dani and Arianna Scarnecchia in collaboration with Magazzino dei Semi, and its calendar runs from October 1 to December 12, 2026.

On November 7 the theater's foyer hosts a full day devoted to spoken word. In the afternoon there's the writing and voice workshop «Come il canto per gli uccelli», which starts from the mechanics of speaking and moves on to performance techniques, and is reserved for those who sign up. In the evening it's the DJ set's turn.

The theater describes spoken word as a «genre-that-isn't-a-genre», a territory where theater, experimental music, poetry and radio art meet. Isidoro Concas's set follows this idea: it brings together tracks from the Italian underground and invites you to let yourself be carried by the words and sounds.

Concas was born in Pinerolo and is a journalist, writer and music therapist. He has been a juror for the Premio Dubito and the Premio Sanesi, wrote a column on spoken word for Neutopia, works with LIPS (Lega Italiana Poetry Slam) and the Metronimie festival and is co-host of Atti Impuri Poetry Slam.

Teatro del Lido di Ostia is part of Teatri in Comune, the network promoted by Roma Capitale that also includes Teatro Biblioteca Quarticciolo, Teatro Tor Bella Monaca and Villa Pamphilj. Its program brings together theater, music, dance, workshops, exhibitions and talks, many of them free.
