On the border between Russia and Finland, the geologist Mira Totinen discovers the body of a child in a natural cave. Meanwhile, police officers Raìsa Petrovich and Pavel Batkin investigate strange local events: missing animals, an earthquake of unknown origin and the hunter Ëak Koski, who seems to know their stories all too well. Between myth, religion and the paganism that withstands time and the elements, the characters will build their own version of nature, of family and of themselves, in a great act of faith shared with the audience.
