The event

The show marks twenty-five years since Morricone's first concert in London, in 2001, and combines music with images and stories from his career. It is a journey through the artistic history of the composer, conceived by Luigi Caiola, Morricone's manager and producer.

The orchestra is the Sinfonica Ars Latina, conducted by Maestro Flavio Emilio Scogna and made up in part of fifteen musicians who played with Morricone. The program includes the themes from «Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo», «C'era una volta il West», «Nuovo Cinema Paradiso», «The Mission», «C'era una volta in America», «La leggenda del pianista sull'oceano», «Metti, una sera a cena» and «Se telefonando».

The show's cast lists as guests Giorgio Pasotti, Raffaele Paganini, Lina Sastri, Mariella Nava, Fabrizio Bosso, Stefano Di Battista, Marcello Cirillo, Piotta, Serena Bagozzi and Claudia Tosoni, together with dancers and performers from film and theater. The evening is hosted by Martina Martorano of Rai Radio2. A free pre-show is planned for ticket holders, and there is a free program for children aged 4 to 13, with mandatory reservation.
