Una riflessione sulla linea sottile che separa l’indifferenza dall’azione.
Text from the official Cultura Roma Capitale page (service translation: “A reflection on the thin line that separates indifference from action”), source
According to the official presentation, «The Thin Line» is a journey through the gravest emergencies of our time. It reflects on the boundary between indifference and action, which separates those who survive from those who are forgotten.
Over the past five years the photographers Alessio Romenzi and Christian Tasso have documented, together with INTERSOS aid workers, some of the worst humanitarian crises, with reportage made in Lebanon, Iraq, Ukraine, Afghanistan, Nigeria and Chad. The images in «The Thin Line» come from this shared work.
