- ASYMMETRIC DRIVE
- PETROLIO
- BERO SNAUTText from the official website of CSOA Forte Prenestino, source
The evening has an electronic and experimental slant. Asymmetric Drive is the duo of Gianfranco Vozza and the guitarist Mauro Corvaglia, who play live, without loops or preset sequences, between industrial techno and cyberpunk ambient. Petrolio is the solo project of Enrico Cerrato, between experimental music, noise and soundtracks, with over 140 concerts in Italy and Europe and the new album "Club Atletico Voces Y Gritos", performed live with the vocalist Danahell. Bero Snaut is the electronic alter ego of the multi-instrumentalist Roberto Cippitelli, with a live set without production software (DAWless) rooted in IDM, techno and post-rock.
The series has 14 concerts and over 30 bands, with a calendar that runs from the opening on November 6 to March 5, 2027, and one firm rule: no covers, no DJs, no playback. Before this date come the evening with Meatdogs, Apoptosi and Bloody Riot and the one with Leda and LillĂ . After it, on November 25, it's the turn of Murosuono and The Apulian Blues Fondation. The name of the first band is written Asymmetric Drive in the text, but "asymetric drive" in the address of the linked page.
The Forte Prenestino complex, completed in 1884 and handed over to the City of Rome in 1977, has hosted an occupied, self-managed social center since May 1986. Among its spaces, the CSOA website lists, besides the concert hall where SONA! takes place, rehearsal rooms, a bike workshop, a movie theater and an infoshop with a library. The fort is in the Prenestino-Centocelle neighborhood: to explore it there's Centocelle, what to see. Another event hosted here is Mostruosamente Forte.
Asymmetric Drive, Petrolio and Bero Snaut, three projects between techno, noise and electronics played live.
