The event

«Sapori Capitolini» is a cultural and food-and-wine series promoted by Ci Vediamo sulla Cima APS, devoted to the relationship between the history of Rome, food culture and the products of the Lazio area. The four meetings in Campo de' Fiori combine stories, debates, intergenerational exchange and free guided tastings.

The November 11 meeting tackles popular cooking, the reuse of scraps and the circular economy, with stories and a closing tasting. Germana De Ruvo hosts it with the storytelling company Raccontamiunastoria.

The second edition's path has touched on seasonal vegetables and the mindful use of water, bread-making and the grape harvest, olive oil and the roots of Roman-Jewish cooking, closing with recovery cooking and waste reduction. Producers, popularizers and young professionals talk with the audience to pass on knowledge and celebrate the city's food memory; the series includes digital content, testimonies and acoustic music moments.
