The event
Since 2018 the Reel Rock Tour has brought the best of international climbing and adventure cinema to Italy. The Rome evening is part of a tour that visits fifteen Italian cities from November 19 to December 10. For the twentieth edition the program offers four medium-length films, different in genre and setting, all devoted to outdoor climbing, for about two and a half hours of cinema.
Among the protagonists are Olympic champion Janja Garnbret; Colin Haley, who attempts a solo winter climb of Cerro Torre; Ben Mayforth, who opens new perspectives in adaptive climbing; and Michaela Kiersch, looking for new routes around the world.
The storytelling goes beyond the climb: there are stories of resilience, personal growth and social impact, and you do not need to be a climber to follow them.
