The event

Mirko Baldassarre is an art historian and popularizer. The theater show crosses three of the greatest museums in the world: the Louvre in Paris, the Prado Museum in Madrid and the Uffizi Gallery in Florence.

The telling combines narration, music, images and video. Films by Mattia Enrico Rinaldi and high-definition images, which show details hard to catch with the naked eye, are part of the staging. The idea is to turn the theater into an open door onto the great museums.

Teatro Ghione is at Via delle Fornaci 37, in the Prati district, a short walk from the Vatican (see Prati and Borgo). This season it also hosts the musical Blood Brothers.
