«Miloemaya» is aimed at the very youngest, from birth, and uses sounds, voice and materials to touch to bring them closer to theater. Around a long laid table, two characters turn everyday objects into sound and play and invent an imaginary banquet in which every gesture becomes rhythm, song and discovery.
The director is Anna Fascendini, with Benedetta Brambilla and Arianna Losi on stage and singing consultancy by Miriam Gotti. The production is by ScarlattineTeatro and Campsirago Residenza. The latter is a national center for research and production of the performing arts in the landscape and for children: since 2008 it has been based in the 15th-century Palazzo Gambassi, in the old village of Campsirago, in the province of Lecco, and it has worked with very young children since 2007.
The festival page gives a running time of 35 minutes, plus time for exploration, and specifies that entry is not allowed once the show has started. Performances are spread over three days, Friday to Sunday, with more performances on Saturday.
