The event
Vincenzo Malinconico is the literary and television character created by Diego De Silva: a lawyer with an uncertain career and an unstable love life. In this show Massimiliano Gallo gives him a voice in the first person and co-writes the text with the novelist.
The form is a confidential monologue: Malinconico speaks directly to the audience and tells, with irony and a few moments of reflection, about his own stumbles. The story runs through three themes: work, feelings and family.
Alongside Gallo, who is also the director, the cast includes Biagio Musella, Eleonora Russo, Diego D'Elia, Greta Esposito and Manuel Mazia. The sets are by Luigi Ferrigno, the lighting by Alessandro Di Giovanni, the costumes by Eleonora Rella and the original songs by Joe Barbieri. The production is by Gianpiero Mirra and Daniela De Rosa for Diana Or.i.s. The language of the show is Italian.
