«Macbeth Machine» is written and performed by Chiara Casarico, Emanuela Bolco and Luciano Pastori, with live music by Leonardo Viciani. The production is by IL NAUFRAGARMEDOLCE.
The official listing describes a physical, musical and visionary show. Between clown, the grotesque and improvisation, three actors and a musician take apart the machine of war and human greed, and show the ridiculous and the horror hidden behind the desire for domination. The comic is used to reveal the tragic and to rebel against the violence of power.
There are three performances, on December 11, 12 and 13, 2026. «Macbeth Machine» is part of the series «Prove Aperte di Civiltà». It already has a stop at the Centro Sociale Anziani Casal Tidei on November 30, and another performance is planned at Teatro del Lido di Ostia on December 17.
The project is made with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Direzione Generale Spettacolo, and is a winner of the public call «Lo spettacolo dal vivo fuori dal Centro 2026», promoted by Roma Capitale, Culture Department, in collaboration with SIAE.
