The event

LUMI is a project active since 2022 that blends electronica, trip hop and contemporary songwriting in Italian. It was born from the vision of the M_SIDE collective, and the name already says the approach: sound and image intertwine until the boundary between the two fades. The atmospheres are described as cinematic, with pulsing rhythms and introspective writing; each song is conceived as a small world of its own.

On stage the project brings a visual setup synchronized in real time with the music, created by Giulia Marinelli, Riccardo di Fiandra, Daniele Di Pentima and Fabio Fortunati. The songs are in Italian.

The night is built as a sequence: an opening solo show comes first, then the band's concert with the light show, then a DJ set with lights after the live, and, late at night, a house set.

The show takes place in the venue at Via Cardinale Merry del Val 14, which replaced an old Trastevere cinema: right where films were once projected, there is now the stage. The single-screen hall has a modest capacity, so you watch the show up close. On the upper floor, facing the stage, is the Balcony restaurant (Roman cuisine, contemporary touches).
