The event

Ka Baird, from New York, is a performer, sound artist, musician and composer. Baird uses extended vocal and microphone techniques together with electronics, feedback, field recordings and flutes to explore the outer dimensions of sound. The result is a present-tense sound, with a vigorous, ritual delivery that seeks extreme release through physical exertion and psychic extension. Baird has collaborated with many artists, both in structured compositions and through a constant practice of improvisation. The new solo album will be released on RVNG Intl in February 2027, while a collaborative work with Chris Williams came out in September on Outside Time.

Ludovica Manzo, from Rome, is a vocalist and performer active in improvised music, songwriting and electroacoustic music. In her practice the voice is the starting point for a sound investigation that includes electronic processing. Through the study of impromptu interaction, combined with compositional structures, she builds sound environments and narrative paths. With «In Vago Spirito», released on October 19 on the Trentino label Kohlhaas and conceived with guitarist and sound artist Ruggero Fornari, she follows a path of pure vocal experimentation.
