Immagine: culture.roma.itOn Sunday, November 22, 2026, Sala Petrassi at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, at Viale Pietro De Coubertin 30 in Rome, hosts «The Glocal Piano Festival», a piano marathon of the 66th Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition in Bolzano. A ticket costs 5 euros for one concert or 12 euros for all three.

Updated November 3, 2026.
The format is unusual for a competition: twelve young pianists play for thirty minutes each, spread over three concerts on the same day, and the audience acts as the jury. At the end of the festival the spectators choose which pianists go on to the final rounds of the Busoni Competition.
The programs are drawn from the great works of the piano repertoire. The Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, which organizes the day within its 2026-2027 season, has not published the names of the twelve pianists or the pieces each one will play.
Viale Pietro De Coubertin 30, in Rome, is the address of Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone, and Sala Petrassi is one of its halls. The Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia holds its concert season there, from October 21, 2026 to June 5, 2027.
