The event
Eight evenings in libraries, from mid-October to December 2026, for the birthday of the Istituzione Biblioteche di Roma: each guest opens a private bookshelf and draws from it a path between the classics and today's books.
Writer Paolo Giordano is in conversation with actress Gioia Salvatori; Sabina Minardi moderates.
The language is Italian; those who cannot attend can find the live stream on the library network's YouTube channel, supported by PAV.
Where it takes place: Biblioteca Franco Basaglia
The Biblioteca Franco Basaglia, in Municipio XIV, is one of the cycle's five recently reopened venues. The closing meeting is at Più Libri Più Liberi; the Biblioteca Aldo Fabrizi shows what a larger system site looks like.
