The event
The text is by Frederick Knott, author of the famous stage play that inspired Alfred Hitchcock's film. The story starts from a plan worked out down to the smallest detail: a murder that seems impossible to prevent. Then an unforeseen event changes everything and the plot turns into a game of deceit, suspicion and twists.
For the Teatro Stabile del Giallo company the director is Anna Masullo and the Italian translation is by Natalia di Giammarco. The show is aimed at those who like thrillers on stage, a genre that keeps the audience waiting for the solution until the last line.
Where it takes place: Teatro Ciak
Via Cassia 692 is the address of Teatro Ciak, which began in the 1950s as Teatro Cassio: first variety shows, then the busiest movie house in the neighborhood. The restoration gave it a 400-seat stalls area and a spacious bistro.
The Teatro Stabile del Giallo company is at home here: the season also includes Arsenico e vecchi merletti, while Teatro Vittoria stages Giallo, sai.
