The December dates are presented as the continuation of a path begun in October: the show, already recorded and staged on the two earlier evenings, is a continuation of it. The stated intent is to tell a story that involves the audience through theater, narration and the sharing of a collective experience.
One notice concerns the audience: during the performances video and photographic recordings of the show and the spaces are planned, which may also include the audience in the hall.
The Teatro Orione was born in the early 1950s in the Appio Latino district, the historical page of the official website recounts: in the 1950s it hosted opera, operetta and major dance events, in the 1960s its use as a cinema grew, in the 1970s it was used as a film studio and in the 1990s for television productions. Today the hall has 980 seats, 548 in the stalls and 428 in the gallery, and the site calls it the fourth theater in Rome by capacity. The new management presents the Nuovo Teatro Orione as the image of an artistic and cultural rebirth for the neighborhood and the city. On our site you'll also find other shows on the program here, such as Girls in Hawaii and Arteteca, Operazione Cicogna, as well as our guide to Christmas in Rome.
