The event

Marina Baciocchi’s works are made with pigments, lime and plaster, with a painting built on the layering of materials. The themes are time, memory and history, developed through landscapes, architecture and urban glimpses.

The exhibition is promoted by Roma Capitale, with the Assessorato alla Cultura e al Coordinamento delle iniziative legate alla Giornata della Memoria, and by the Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali; museum services are provided by Zètema Progetto Cultura.

Three related events are planned, all free: a guided tour on November 12, 2026, the meeting “Correnti Sotterranee. Reading” on November 21, 2026 and a second guided tour on December 3, 2026.

Where it takes place: Museo delle Mura

The Museum of the Walls is housed in Porta San Sebastiano, one of the largest and best-preserved gates of the Aurelian Walls. Its route traces the history of Rome’s fortifications, from those of the regal and republican periods to those built by Aurelian in the 3rd century AD. The Baths of Caracalla are in the same area.
