«una mappa sonora costituita dall’intreccio di voci, interviste, suoni, rumori»
Text from the official Cultura Roma Capitale page (service translation: “a sound map made of an interweaving of voices, interviews, sounds, noises”), source
The date is the public presentation of a workshop. According to the official presentation, the map is a sound map made of an interweaving of voices, interviews, sounds, noises from Quadraro. The workshop runs over four days, November 20, 21, 22 and 26, and «Cartografie sonore» shows its result.
The workshop is curated by Marzia Coronati, a radio documentarist, who is the same day a guest of the talk I suoni della città. The presentation is a moment to listen to the neighborhood through the voices of the people who live in it.
«Ai Confini dell’Arte 2026» is a project by Margine Operativo that turns ten years old in 2026 and reflects on the relationship between performing arts and public space. Roma Capitale supports it through «Roma Creativa 365. Cultura tutto l’anno», together with Zètema Progetto Cultura. The full program is on the organizer’s website.
The workshop uses the library as its base and extends to the urban spaces of Quadraro, where the map gathers its voices. The venue belongs to Biblioteche di Roma, the city’s public library system.
