The event

The story takes place in Naples on September 6, 1860. Salvatore is about to marry Serafina, but an old flame of his, Sebastiano, puts the wedding at risk. The confusion takes the two men to the police station, before Commissioner Liberio Bentivoglio, who wants to find a truth different from the one they tell.

In the background are the wait for Garibaldi, whose arrival in the city is still uncertain, and the search for a missing list of Neapolitan Garibaldians: a plot with farcical tones, described by the theater as «hilarious and mad». The performers are Claudio Comune, Dario de Francesco, Christian Mastrillo, Fabiana Paolone and Flavio Pomaro. The show is in Italian.
