Immagine: culture.roma.it«I am the Wind», a text by Jon Fosse directed by Gábor Tompa with choreography by Enikő Györgyjakab, runs from Wednesday, November 25 to Sunday, November 29, 2026 at Teatro India (Lungotevere Vittorio Gassman 1, Rome), in the 2026-2027 Teatro di Roma season.
Updated November 3, 2026.
The event
Teatro di Roma presents the piece starting from an idea dear to Fosse, that writing resembles prayer: a kind of listening that moves from darkness toward light. The starting point is the limit of language, which alone cannot convey the pain, the joy, and the mystery of existence.
At its center are confusion, unanswered questions, and the possibility of rebirth; the show invites the audience to accept silence and to face the fragility of life with hope. The cast and the language of the performance are not stated by Teatro di Roma.
Where it takes place: Teatro India
Teatro India is part of the Fondazione Teatro di Roma, like Teatro Argentina and Teatro Torlonia. The main entrance is on Lungotevere Vittorio Gassman 1; there is a second access at Via Luigi Pierantoni 6.
