«ABRACADABRA» is an evening of magic that blends illusion, theater, comedy and visual invention and is aimed at audiences of all ages. The 2026 edition marks the tenth year at Teatro Ghione. Part of the proceeds goes to Antas Onlus and the Telethon Foundation for research on Phelan-McDermid syndrome.
The cast brings together artists from different schools. Yann Frisch, from France, a two-time world magic champion, is known for theatrical manipulation. Sergey Stupakov, from Latvia, brings the classical magic of grand appearances and disappearances: in 2021 he won gold at the International Circus Festival in Latina with an act featuring a dove and a parrot. South Korea's Kimoon Do, seen on «Britain's Got Talent», turns the role of the orchestra conductor into an act of magic and comedy.
Portugal's David Sousa is a manipulation specialist, runner-up at the FISM World Championships in Stockholm and winner of the Golden Magic Wand at Monte Carlo Magic Stars in 2007. American David Kaplan is a magician, juggler, musician and physical comedian in the vaudeville tradition. The program is completed by Duo Kibalyon, from Russia and Argentina, with lightning-fast costume changes, and the Rox Sisters, from Italy, with an illusion act led by women. The evening is hosted by Disguido, that is Guido Marini and Isabella R. Zanivan, the creators of the show and winners of the Mandrake d'Or and of the FISM awards for comedy magic.
Via delle Fornaci, in the Prati district, is the address of Teatro Ghione. The neighborhood is covered in the guide to Prati and Borgo and, nearby, in the entry for Castel Sant'Angelo.
